Jesus Rodriguez is in the ring and he brings out the MLW President, Cesar Duran.
Cesar is handed the mic and he welcomes everyone to MLW Battle Riot. He says this is special because tonight is his homecoming. He says from Boyle Heights to here. From the Underground to here. He is the Presidente of MLW. Thanks to you. Now that he is the president he tells everyone to tell him what they want. You know that whatever you want, he delivers. He says he has a gift for all of you.
He says he just signed someone. He was the heart of a dynasty. He has gone toe to toe against the best, even him. He is a franchise player. He brings out Alex Hammerstone.
Hammerstone is handed the mic and he says in this moment right now, he has a ton of emotions inside of him. He says it has been a long time since he heard a building packed with MLW fans chanting for him. He says don't get it twisted. He didn't come back to have his name chanted or the return pop. He says he came back to enter the Battle Riot and win it to take back what is his, the MLW World Title. He says that starts now. He says he never thought he would say this, but he thanks Cesar.
Match Number One: Atlantis, Atlantis Jr., and Star Jr. versus Ultimo Guerrero, Barbaro Cavernario, and Magnus
Ultimo hits Junior before the bell rings. Junior goes after Guerrero on the floor.
Junior and Ultimo start things off and Junior with a drop kick. Ultimo with a clothesline and Junior with an enzuigiri and Barbaro pulls Junior to the floor and he punches him. Magnus knocks Star off the apron. Magnus and Barbaro with a double kick to Atlantis and then Barbaro kicks Atlantis in the leg. Star tags in and Barbaro distract the referee. Magnus blocks a kick and Barbaro hits Star. Barbaro with a drop toe hold to Star followed by a Tiger Feint kick from Magnus. Magnus kicks Junior in the thigh. Barbaro sends him to the apron and Ultimo with a baseball slide to send Junior into the guardrails. Atlantis comes in and Ultimo kicks him and gives him a snap mare. They go for the mask but Star tries to stop them. Atlantis is put on the turnbuckles and Ultimo almost has the mask off but Atlantis puts it back on for a moment but Ultimo almost pulls it off.
Ultimo with a kick in the tree of woe. Ultimo with a kick and Atlantis goes to the floor. Magnus kicks Junior and Ultimo with a spinebuster and Barbaro with kicks. Barbaro with a single leg crab. Barbaro and Magnus kick Junior and Barbaro gets a near fall. Barbaro slaps Atlantis and then Barbaro with an arm bar and Magnus bites the hand. Magnus pulls Atlantis in and Barbaro with a punch. Star distracts the referee from the apron. Ultimo almost has Atlantis' mask off. Ultimo sends Atlantis into the turnbuckles. Ultimo, Barbaro, and Magnus Irish whip Junior. Atlantis with a double Japanese arm drag. Star with an arm drag to Barbaro. Barbaro and Junior with shoulder tackles and both stay on their feet. Junior with a forearm and Ultimo comes in and he hits a double springboard arm drag to Magnus and Ultimo. Junior with head scissors to Magnus and Ultimo.
Barbaro punches Star and Star with chops. Barbaro sends Star to the apron and Star with a slingshot neck breaker. Star with a victory roll and a drop kick to the back of the head. Ultimo chops Star in the corner. Star with chops and a clothesline. Atlantis tags in and so does Magnus. Magnus with chops. Atlantis with a chop and arm drag. Magnus collides with Barbaro and Atlantis with a hip toss and then he sends opponents into each other. Ultimo and Atlantis play to the crowd. Atlantis sends Ultimo over the top rope and then he hits a cross body onto Ultimo. Star with a boot to Barbaro and he spasms into a worm. Star kicks Barbaro to the floor and he hits a swanton. Junior with a slam to Magnus followed by a frog splash for the three count.
Winners: Star Junior, Atlantis, and Atlantis Junior
Match Number Two: HIMAWARI versus Janai Kai
They lock up and HIMAWARI with a wrist lock but Kai with a reversal. HIMAWARI with a reversal and hammer lock. Kai with a side head lock take down and HIMAWARI with a head scissors. They lock up and Kai with a side head lock. Kai has enough running the ropes and HIMAWARI with a rollup for a near fall. Kai with a kick to the arm. HIMAWARI whips Kai with her hair. HIMAWARI comes at Kai with the hair and Kai sends HIMAWARI into the turnbuckles and ties her hair in the ropes. Kai with kicks followed by a snap mare and kick for a near fall. Kai with a slam and a second one. Kai with a third slam for a near fall.
Kai kicks HIMAWARI in the back many times. HIMAWARI with forearms and Kai with a kick to the midsection. Kai gets a near fall. Kai chokes HIMAWARI with her hair and applies the Demon Clutch. HIMAWARI's arm goes down twice but not the third time. HIMAWARI gets to her feet and she connects with elbows. HIMAWARI with a drop kick. HIMAWARI uses the hair to whip Kai. HIMAWARI gets a near fall. Kai misses a spin kick and HIMAWRI with a kick. Kai with a uranage for a near fall. HIMAWARI with a running shoulder tackle followed by a neck breaker. HIMAWARI with a single leg crab. Kai escapes with a kick.
Kai with a spinning heel kick for the three count.
Winner: Janai Kai
Contra intercepts the feed. Krugger says this is a sanctuary for the divine. He sees through the ocean. This city is not paved in holy light. It is a cathedral not for Gods, men who think themselves immortal. He says he was born of their blasphemy. He says he is a walking sin. The world of MLW shudders at his step and at last, the reckoning comes. He has no love, no mercy, only purpose.
We go to Saint Laurent in the ring.
He says this is the biggest night in the history of MLW. He brings out his guests, World Champion Matt Riddle and Tom Lawlor.
Riddle takes the mic from Saint Laurent.
Riddle throws out a bro and wants to know what is going on. He says it is a big and historic night. He is defending the World Title in Battle Riot. Riddle says it feels like the worst surprise party. Riddle says the worst part of this is that they have to stand next to this turd. Riddle suggests who could be in Battle Riot.
Saint Laurent brings up that they broke his arm and his heart so they will hear from his attorneys.
Riddle and Lawlor back Saint Laurent into the corner.
Lawlor says he is not going to talk to them like this.
Saint Laurent hits Lawlor gingerly in the back with a lead pipe.
Riddle blocks a slap and Dijak attacks Riddle from behind and he kicks Riddle. Dijak with a forearm and he chokes Riddle. Bishop Dyer attacks Lawlor and Riddle with a chair.
Saint Laurent says this is what happens when you mess with him.
Dijak hits Riddle with the lead pipe.
Security comes to the ring one at a time to get punched, clotheslined, and kicked by Dyer and Dijak.
Lawlor is thrown over the top rope to the floor while Dijak hits Riddle in the ribs with the pipe.
The Rogue Horsemen are in the hallway and they confront Paul Walter Hauser and he is joined by Mr. Thomas and Paul London.
Paul says Battle Riot is full of surprises.
Alex Kane shows up and he says numbers don't mean a thing.
We see Mistico in the crowd with Salina de la Renta and Cesar Duran.
Match Number Three: Templario versus Hechicero versus Esfinge
They exchange shoulder tackles and arm drags. Now it is time for leg sweeps and covers. Templario with a sunset flip to Esfinge. Hechicero avoids a thrust kick and Hechicero gets Templario on his shoulders but Templario with a head scissors take down. Esfinge with a head scissors to Templario. Esfinge with a monkey flip. Hechicero goes for a sling blade and goes to the apron. Templario with a thrust kick to Esfinge. Hechicero with a single leg take down and a leg sweep for a cover. Esfinge with a sunset flip and Templario with a rollup for a near fall. Esfinge with a jackknife for a near fall. Templario with a rollup for a near fall. Hechicero with a near fall on both opponents.
Templario with a drop kick to Hechicero but Esfinge with a kick to Templario. Esfinge with a flip dive. Esfinge with a head scissors to Templario with an arm drag to Hechicero. Esfinge with a power slam to Templario for a near fall. Hechicero with a chop to Esfinge followed by punches in the corner. Esfinge with an Irish whip but Hechicero goes to the apron and he gives Esfinge a dragon screw in the ropes. Templario with a head scissors to Hechicero. Templario with an arm drag off the ropes. Templario with a suicide dive to Esfinge. Esfinge with a chop to Templario. Templario chops back. Templario with a kick and a GTS. Hechicero breaks up the cover and he sets for a surfboard.
Esfinge sends Templario into the ropes. Hechicero with a knee to Esfinge in the corner. Hechicero with a flapjack and he rolls Templario around the ring. Esfinge with a thrust kick to Hechicero. Hechicero sends Esfinge to the apron and chops him. Hechicero with a body scissors into a cross arm breaker but Esfinge with a frog splash to break up the hold. Esfinge with a splash to Hechicero. Templario with a wheelbarrow suplex to Hechicero and he stretches Hechicero and he taps out.
Winner: Templario
After the match, Templario goes to the floor and walks over to Mistico and La Familia Duran.
Joe Dombrowski talks to Cesar Duran, Salina de la Renta, and Mistico.
Joe asks Cesar what is next for Mistico.
Cesar says Mistico cannot give you the show that you appreciate to the heart.
Mistico says that he has to relinquish the Middleweight title. He says he is going for greater gold. He says he is going to fight for everything.
Ikuro Kwon takes the title belt from Duran and Duran falls to the floor after being receiving the red mist.. Salina screams.
We see a video clip for someone coming to MLW in June.
Match Number Four; MLW Featherweight Championship Match: Delmi Exo versus Shoko Nakajima
They lock up and Exo sends Shoko into the turnbuckles. They lock p and Exo with a side head lock. Shoko with a reversal. Shoko with a springboard head lock take down. Exo with a head scissors. Shoko with a figure four on the legs and Exo gets to the ropes. Shoko catapults Exo into the bottom rope. Shoko goes to the apron and hits a slingshot senton for a near fall. Shoko with forearms and she gets a near fall. Shoko goes up top and she leaps over Exo. Exo with a clothesline and she gets a near fall. Exo with a wrist lock and knees off the ropes. Exo with a side Russian leg sweep and she gets a near fall. Exo with a delayed fisherman's suplex for a near fall. Exo with boots to the back.
Exo with an Irish whip and elbow in the corner. Exo goes up top and she hits a missile drop kick for a near fall. Exo with more near falls. Shoko with forearms and Exo wants more. Exo with a kick but Shoko with a drop kick. Shoko with a running clothesline into the corner. Shoko with a springboard head scissors take down. Shoko with a suicide dive onto Exo. Shoko sends Exo back into the ring and she gets a near fall. Exo with a knee and a running cutter. Exo with a back breaker and a second one. She drops Shoko to the mat and gets a near fall. Shoko iwth a double underhook but Exo escapes and she goes for the Delmi Driver but Shoko counters with a jackknife cover.
Shoko blocks the Delmi Driver and Shoko with a kick. Shoko misses a Tiger Feint Kick but holds on to the ropes for a second one. Shoko with a DDT. Shoko goes to the turnbuckles and hits a back senton for the three count.
Winner: Shoko Nakajima (new champion)
