This week’s episode starts off with Chuey Martinez, Stevie Turner, and NXT General Manager Ava in the back. Ava is very impressed with what Stevie Turner has been doing in EVOLVE. Ava asks Martinez to go out with Turner in front of the audience to make a special announcement. The special announcement is…Stevie Turner is the new General Manager of WWE EVOLVE!
Stevie Turner is in the ring, which is surrounded by the WWE EVOLVE roster, and is honored to be named the General Manager of WWE EVOLVE. Turner says that it feels great to have Ava’s trust and is happy that she was chosen over Robert Stone. In EVOLVE, everything is up for grabs. Who will take the top spot? Who will be in title contendership? Who will be the face of EVOLVE? It all comes down to who impresses Turner…and the fans, of course. Turner then announces Wolfgang vs. Sam Holloway as tonight’s first match.
Before the match can get started, Lucas Crusifino and Keanu Carver have to be separated as all the wrestlers head to the back.
Wolfgang with Joe Coffey vs. Sam Holloway
They lock up and neither man can gain the advantage. They break the lock up and re-lock up. Holloway backs Wolfgang into the ropes and they break the lock up. They lock up again and Wolfgang backs Holloway into the ropes. They break and lock up again. Wolfgang grabs a side headlock. Wolfgang is sent into the ropes and tries a tackle, but Holloway won’t go down. They try to tackle each other repeatedly, but neither man will budge. They then exchange strikes in the middle of the ring until Wolfgang hits Holloway in the midsection. Wolfgang gets in another couple of strikes and then a running on in the corner. Wolfgang’s momentum brings him over the ropes and to the apron. He climbs to the top rope and hits Holloway with a flying strike.
Holloway shakes it off and levels Wolfgang. Wolfgang rolls to the apron and Holloway follows him there. Holloway slams Wolfgang on the apron and Wolfgang rolls to the floor. Holloway then hits Wolfgang with a running shoulder block that sends him into the ringpost. Holloway sends Wolfgang back into the ring and then hits a rope assisted elbow. Holloway kicks at Wolfgang and then slams him down for a two count.
Holloway slaps at Wolfgang’s head. Wolfgang doesn’t like that and tries to fight back. Wolfgang tries to slam Holloway, but Wolfgang’s back gives out. Holloway gains the advantage back and slaps on an abdominal stretch. Wolfgang is able to fight out of the hold, reversing it into an abdominal stretch of his own. Holloway is able to quickly power out and hits a hip toss for a two count.
Holloway jaws with Joe Coffey, which allows Wolfgang to start to fight back. Wolfgang hits an elbow and then climbs to the second rope. He hits a flying shoulder block on Holloway. Wolfgang blocks a punch and hits three of his own. Wolfgang works Holloway over in the corner, but is then lifted to the apron. Wolfgang tries to flip into the ring, but his back gives out again. Holloway then double underhooks Wolfgang and throws him overhead into the turnbuckles for a two count.
Holloway drives Wolfgang into the corner and hits multiple shoulder blocks. Holloway lifts Wolfgang up to the top turnbuckle and follows him up. Holloway double underhooks Wolfgang, but Wolfgang fights out of it - sending Holloway down to the mat. Wolfgang then hits a senton bomb for the win!
Winner: Wolfgang
After the match, Joe Coffey talks to Stevie Turner through the camera - “Remember when I knocked out Jordan Oasis? Send anyone that wants a scrap.”
Earlier in the week, Aria Bennett and Layla Diggs ran into each other at the Performance Center. Neither are happy with how their matches went last time out. Bennett was on her way out, but offers to join Diggs in training and figure out a way to work together. With that, Layla Diggs and Aria Bennett vs. Haze Jameson and Kalyx is announced for tonight.
Also announced for tonight is Sean Legacy vs. A Former OG EVOLVE Champion.
Carlee Bright is in the VIP Section with some pom poms.
Kendal Grey vs. Zara Zakher
Kendal Grey quickly goes behind Zara Zakher and takes her down. Zakher reverses, but Grey counters immediately. Zakher is able to transition to a front facelock, but Grey rolls Zakher up for one count. They stand up and Grey goes behind again. She grabs an arm and cranks it. Zakher rolls out of it and grabs an arm of Grey. Grey rolls out of it, but Zakher keeps the arm control. Grey is able to reverse it and applies an arm bar. Zakher stands out of it and arm drags Grey a couple of times and then slaps on an arm bar of her own.
Grey works out of it and sends Zakher to the ropes. Grey hits a dropkick and then hits a big strike in the corner. Zakher shakes it off and hits Grey with some strikes. Zakher hits a springboard elbow and a dropkick to the back for a two count. Zakher grabs a hold of Grey, but Grey fights out of it and hits a Soul Food-like move to the shoulder. Grey then sends Zakher into the corner shoulder first. Grey then hits a suplex for a two count.
Grey goes for another suplex, but Zakher fights it off. Zakher goes for a suplex, but Grey blocks it and cranks down on Zakher’s arm. Grey goes for a suplex, but Zakher blocks it and hits one of her own. Zakher hits Grey with some forearms and then a couple of running forearms. Zakher hits a running European Uppercut, but then eats a kick. Zakher is able to hit a spinning spinebuster for a one count. It looked like Zakher broke up the pinfall herself. Grey goes for a sunset flip and gets a two count. Zakher reverses for a two count. Zakher hits an enzuigiri and climbs to the top rope. She jumps off, but Grey ducks under. Grey hits a big boot and locks on an arm bar for the submission win!
Winner: Kendal Grey
Carlee Bright, still in the VIP Section, waves her pom poms in celebration of Kendal Grey’s win as Kylie Rae checks on Zara Zakher. As Rae checks on Zakher, she sees the stuffed bear from Wendy Choo leaning against the ringpost in the corner of the ring.
Drako Knox is at the commentary table to talk to Peter Rosenberg and Robert Stone. He gets a big rush when he wrestles - bigger than when he played football. He didn’t appreciate the big unnamed man who was staring him down from the VIP Section last week, though. If he wants a fight, he can get it - especially with Tate Wilder, his partner, being out with an injury.
Swipe Right and Ice Williams are in the VIP Section.

Layla Diggs and Aria Bennett vs. Haze Jameson and Kalyx
Layla Diggs and Kalyx start things off with a lock up. Kalyx goes behind, but Diggs fights out of it and pushes Kalyx off. Kalyx strikes down Diggs and sends her into the ropes. Diggs flips out of a hip toss and hits a drop kick. Aria Bennett tags in and Diggs helps her hit a backflip splash for a two count on Kalyx. Bennett tries to work over an arm, but Kalyx powers out of it and hits a back elbow. Haze Jameson tags in and gets a quick two count.
Jameson grabs an arm, but Bennett rolls out of it and hits an arm drag. Bennett hits another arm drag. She goes for a third, but Jameson is able to reverse into a chinlock. Bennett tries to fight out, but Jameson clubs at her back. Jameson hits Diggs off of the apron and then tags in Kalyx. Kalyx hits a running strike for a two count. Jameson goes over to the VIP Section and gets a sip of some bubbly as Diggs tags back in and hits Diggity Splits for the win!
Winner: Layla Diggs and Aria Bennett
After the match, Haze Jameson can’t believe that her team lost. She checks on Kalyx, but Kalyx pushes her off and storms away.
A video package airs for Timothy Thatcher that covers his championship reign, confidence, and submission expertise. He is the Former OG EVOLVE Champion facing Sean Legacy in the main event.
A video package airs for Sean Legacy. He decided that he wanted to be a professional wrestler in high school. He used to get picked on a lot, but he fought through it. Legacy wants to be a role model and nothing beats helping people. Sean Legacy is trying to create a legacy in EVOLVE.
Timothy Thatcher vs. Sean Legacy
Sean Legacy starts fast with a dropkick, a kick, and a moonsault for a two count. Timothy Thatcher is able to grab a leg and drags Legacy down. He rains down forearms and then hits Legacy with a knee and a hard kick. Thatcher stands Legacy up and goes for more strikes, but Legacy uses his speed to hit a series of running strikes for a two count.
Legacy tosses Thatcher out of the ring. Thatcher gets back on the apron and they jockey for position. Legacy slips between Thatcher’s legs and pulls him down to the floor. Legacy gets back in the ring, runs the ropes, and hits a dive.
Back from commercial, Thatcher hits an uppercut on Legacy, but Legacy fights back. Thatcher hits a strike to the gut and a club to the back. Thatcher sends Legacy to the apron. Legacy hits a forearm and goes for a springboard move, but Thatcher swats him away. Thatcher hits a belly-to-back suplex for a two count.
Swipe Right and Ice Williams are not impressed with Sean Legacy as they watch from the VIP Section.
Thatcher locks on a bow and arrow and gets a two count. Thatcher then ties Legacy up in the ropes and takes some shots at Legacy’s midsection. Thatcher hits a suplex for a two count. Thatcher locks on an arm stretch and then snaps Legacy’s fingers. Thatcher hits an uppercut, but Legacy starts to fight back. Legacy gets in some strikes, but eats a back elbow and then a throw by Thatcher for a two count.
Thatcher slaps on a chinlock and transitions into a pin for a two count. Thatcher then drives his knee into Legacy and then stretches Legacy’s arm around Legacy’s throat. Thatcher transitions to a standing front facelock. Legacy fights out and lifts Thatcher over the top rope. Thatcher gets back to the apron and they exchange strikes. Legacy falls to the mat. Thatcher falls to the floor.
Thatcher gets back to the apron and Legacy suplexes him back into the ring. Legacy hits two running strikes and then a series of kicks. He hits a belly-to-back suplex and then goes to the apron. Legacy hits a springboard dropkick for a two count.
Swipe Right and Ice Williams are still not impressed with Legacy as they watch from the VIP Section.
Thatcher grabs Legacy and hits a European Uppercut to the back of Legacy’s neck. Legacy shakes it off and hits a running knee in the corner. Legacy then hits Shambles for the win!
Winner: Sean Legacy
After the match, Timothy Thatcher gives Sean Legacy applause as Swipe Right and Ice Williams smack talk Sean Legacy. Swipe Right enter the ring and get in Sean Legacy’s face. Cappuccino Jones and Jack Cartwheel come to the ring to even the odds. Swipe Right calls for Ice Williams to join them. Williams is not very excited to do so, but does enter the ring. Once he does, he switches sides and joins Legacy, Jones, and Cartwheel. Swipe Right doesn't like their odds and they decide to leave the ring.
