I highly doubt that WWE would have John Cena commit to the biggest heel turn in the company’s history to have him lose to Cody Rhodes one month later. I’m 95% sure it’s going to be John in the part time champ role like Roman had for almost 4 years. But, I do think that John sticks to his commitment of retiring at the end of 2025, so he probably holds the title until Survivor Series (if it’s in Chicago, CM Punk is taking the title almost 99% guaranteed). Then he and the Rock have words after losing, there’s a fight between them, then set up a big PLE in Boston in December for John Cena’s final match against the Rock. A big 3rd match with both Rock and John tied at 1-1, that could do big numbers for WWE. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself, but I know that HHH likes to book the long game and is already thinking about what John’s title reign looks like over the course of this year. Your thoughts?
Could that happen? Sure. But the one variable that you are off on is HHH. He doesn’t book The Rock’s stories. The Rock does.
Jacob Fatu will most likely become a champion very soon after Wrestlemania, but what’s next for Solo?
That’s a really good question. Solo was on fire for a while but after the loss to Roman Reigns on the Netflix premiere, they haven’t done much with him. I hope that they fix that soon. Fatu is a special talent, for sure, but so is Solo.
I had to turn off Dynamite this week after Jon Moxley did the spot on the nails. What is wrong with that guy?
That was one of the stupidest things that I have ever seen in pro wrestling, it really was. The business is supposed to be about the illusion of making something that isn’t super painful look real. Obviously that is not what Mox did on Dynamite. I don’t know what is wrong with him but it sure seems like, at least, he’s a masochist.
Another question, how can his wife stand by and watch him harm himself like that?
I have no idea. I know that I sure couldn’t do it if I were here.
Have you ever noticed that they always announce how much the men weigh but never announce how much the women weigh?
