I want to make sure I have this correct. Tony Kahn let Ricky Starks contract expire and then goes out and signs Big Boon AJ? What in the world is wrong with him?
All I can say is that he sees the wrestling business a lot differently than I do.
Which is worse: Cody Rhodes current story leading to WrestleMania or Lesnar ending Undertaker's streak? Or should we wait and see how Cody's angle with the two old guys turns out?
After Cena’s putrid promo on Raw, it seems like Cody’s story could win in a landslide. No matter what Cody does, god this angle has sucked. Even it turns into something better, it’s terrible right now. And Cena couldn’t explain why he turned AFTER he won the Chamber match because no reason makes sense, and they knew it so they just blew it off. God, it’s putrid. I feel for Cody. He deserves better than what The Rock puts him through this time of year.
Bianca is great and is pretty much a made woman now. Personally, I don't think she needs that huge braid anymore. It made her different and got her attention when she was up and coming but I don't think it's needed anymore. Thoughts?
I don’t have any problem with it. It makes her look unique and it can come into play when they decide to use it. Whatever she wants to do is fine with me.
Was the key clue that Cena would turn heel at the 2025 Royal Rumble post show press conference? Cena said that him winning the Elimination Chamber and headlining Wrestlemania was “best for business”. I don’t think I’ve ever heard him that say that he was best for business in one of his promos.
Once he played the “I am using my status to put myself in the Chamber” card that was the genesis of his turn.
In a recent Q&A someone asked a question about Brian Last, and Dave stated at the very least he pays Jim Cornette very well. What is the nature of their relationship? Does Jim work for him? Does Last help him w his podcasts? I used to listen to their shows occasionally, but it just felt more and more like Last was almost just trying to isolate and almost controls how Cornette interacts/relates to everyone else.
Before Last came along, Jim was doing the podcast with another outlet. After he broke free from there, he needed a new home. That’s where Last came in. He became Jim’s co-host and handled the business end of the podcast. From what Jim told me before the meltdown, he is the on air talent, Last handles everything else, including ad sales, the money, etc. As far as I know they are partners, but Last is the one who works with the money, thus makes the payment. That could have changed post meltdown, but that is how it used to be.
