The match finally gets into the ring. Lots of shenanigans. Dick Togo throws powder in Chase Owens face. EVIL hits Everything is Evil on Owens.
EVIL pins Owens.
SANADA immediately leaves ringside. Kidd and Moloney grab chairs to continue the fight. House of Torture escapes.
7 - Shota Umino and Tomoaki Honma vs. Shingo Takagi and Yota Tsuji
Tsuji hits a Gene Blaster on Honma and gets the pin.
New Japan Cup 2025 Semifinals:
8 - Zack Sabre Jr. vs. David Finlay
The match was even until ZSJ sent Finlay into the guardrails. ZSJ throws Finlay in the ring and punts him in the chest. ZSJ with an Octopus Lock. Finlay reverses and hits a powerbomb. ZSJ hits a Zack Driver. ZSJ kicks Finlay in the chest. They trade reversals. Finlay with a powerbomb. Two count.
Finlay goes for a Dominator but ZSJ grabs him in a sleeper and begins a submission transition. Finlay gets the ropes. Finlay hits a spear. Finlay hits Oblivion. Two count. ZSJ blocks Overkill and rolls Finlay into a cradle. Two count. They exchange reversals. Finlay hits Overkill.
Finlay pins ZSJ.
David Finlay moves into the Finals of the New Japan Cup.
Finlay says he beat Goto in front of his children. He beat the former World Champion which makes him the uncrowned King. He says he is coming for Goto and the World Title.
Tomorrow, Shota Umino faces Shingo Takagi in the last semifinals match.
