BIG GUYS VS. LITTLE GUYS, WILL OSPREAY IS IN THE RIGHT PLACE, NXT BOOKING AND MORE

How does the WWE go to a foreign country and not have promos in the country's foreign language?  Are we that uneducated as a society?

You have to remember, WWE is an American company and foreign countries know that when they bring the show to town. We do get people who can speak the country’s language use it at times, as we heard on Friday’s Smackdown from Barcelona but not all of the wrestlers are bilingual.  It’s pretty clear that a lot of other countries put an emphasis on learning English while we do not have that same commitment in the US.  Does that make us uneducated?  I will let you make that call.

Good morning, after reading a Will Ospreay interview where he said AEW is the second most profitable wrestling company ever, how can the wrestlers not realize how bad things really are? Dynamite is behind NXT by 85-100,000 viewers a week and they are wrestling in front of 1500 people who are silent most of the show. WWE Raw and Smackdown have 10,000-18,000 fans every show and the room is loud are AEW wrestlers treating Tony like the money mark he is or do they reality believe they are doing great wrestling?

There’s a lot there!  First, I do believe that people like Ospreay think that their take on how to perform is the best way to do it.  It’s a matter of opinion, for sure.  Is it the most financially successful?  No way.  Is it the best?  That’s a matter of opinion.  Why does Ospreay say that AEW is the second most profitable company ever?  Well, there is a “journalist” out there, who is wrong a lot and never owns up to it, who made that statement and people like Ospreay either believe him or parrot what he says as it fits their agenda.  In any event, I think Will is in the right place. He can do all of the things that he wants to do. I don’t think that would be the case in WWE or NXT.

Second question-In terms of presentation, I watched the new NXT heel faction headed up by Dion Lennox and looked up all the heights and weights. Saquon Shuggers is the “smallest” at 6’1 220 Cutler James biggest 6’5 260. Compare that to the Death Riders, The NXT guys are men compared to 99 percent of AEW roster and to date have been presented as a gang looking to take people out. The death riders Yuta and Claudio as Moxley’s boys stand them face to face against Lennox, Griffin, James, and Shuggars who looks more intimidating? Is there anybody around Tony Kahn who can get him into reality and make him realize the truth that his company is in bad shape despite having all of this money from WBD?

I think if anyone was able to get through to Tony about improving the product the way that you suggest they would have done so by now. We are getting Tony’s vision of wrestling. It’s been clear for years that, for whatever reason, he doesn’t like to book big, tough guys as dominating.  Wardlow. Hobbs. Archer. They all had a chance to be booked as monsters and he just wouldn’t do it.  I don’t get it either.  If Kenny Omega is standing across from Jacob Fatu, the average fans thinks Kenny is about to die.  If both Young Bucks are standing across from Bron Breakker, they are dead men.  But, Tony sees it totally differently. I have no idea how his mind works.

With Raw being in European countries for the next 3 weeks and Netflix airing the shows live in the afternoon in the U.S., will they do the same when Raw is in Perth, Australia this fall? If the show airs live that means it will air on the East Coast at 8 in the morning.

That is what we have been told.  Personally, I love it.  Watching the show earlier is awesome to me.

Any thoughts on why the NXT Title was taken off Giulia so soon? And why didn't they use Jordynne instead of putting both belts on Stephanie. Not that I think Stephanie is bad but she didn't really get chance to put her stamp on the North American belt.

The booking in NXT has been good so I want to see where it goes.  It could be Giulia is getting called up.  It could be it’s part of a longer booking plan.  I will wait and see how it plays out.
