There have been a number of stories in the New York market over the last day about WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan's recent promotional tour to promote his beer line, specifically based around the fact that Hogan left several of the signings early without warning.
News 12 in Hudson Valley, NY featured story on the situation, including video of a pair of children who were crying after waiitng four hours to meet Hogan, only to see him leave before he signed for the promised first 250 people in line.
PWInsider.com is told that at a signing in Carmel, NY, Hogan declined to sign anything except cases of his beer that fans had to purchase, although it was advertised as a free meet and greet. Hogan did take photos with fans. One person relayed to PWInsider.com that when they asked Hogan to sign a baseball card, he responded, "They won't let me."
We are also told that for Hogan's appearance in Newburgh, NY, he arrived an hour late, then cut a promo, handed out cans of his beer and exited without signing.
Jimmy Hart accompanied Hogan for the signing appearances and we are told he happily signed for anyone who asked.
Hogan's representatives did not return a request for comment to News 12 - if they ever do, we'll update.
