Okay, first things first. The Rock is… well, The Rock. Huge movie star. One of the biggest names in WWE history. A member of the board of directors of the parent company. Close friends with Nick Khan and Ari Emanuel. I get all that. But still, it has to be frustrating to Paul Levesque and the talent, who work hard all year round to tell long-term stories, that they’re on high alert all the time that The Rock could walk in the door and blow up all the creative plans at a moment’s notice?
If I were Paul Levesque, and others, it would piss me off every time he dropped in if he didn't clear it with me first. I have always been a huge Rock fan, but in an era where the writing is so good, planned out and intricate, I hope that Rock realizes that and acts accordingly. It's about the product, not him. But to be honest, after that appearance on Friday’s Smackdown, I have a bad feeling about his involvement. That segment was really, really bad. I have spoken to a few people inside WWE that were not happy to see him return, and I don't blame them. He is not needed.
What is with all those people with the flashlights in the main event of RAW?
It seemed like cell phones to me. Pretty much everyone has a cell phone.
I have not watched AEW since the last stupid thing they did. Flipping through the channels and I just saw Cope with the nail bat chase mox out of the ring up the aisle through fans. He turned and delivered his lines while holding this weapon. I am sure it is rigged somehow but there are children, crazy people in those seats. What is the matter with you AEW. Very unsafe and dangerous. Can I blame the writers or cope with this idea?
The inmates run the asylum there, for sure. But with that said, the warden isn't any better than they are when it comes to working safe and smart.
Why did NXT drop the name TakeOver for the big shows?
I would guess they decided it had outlived its time. Takeovers were a HHH thing. Shawn Michaels is the booker now.
Why can’t Lio Rush find a permanent home?
After a while, when someone bounces around like he does, the blame usually falls on the talent himself. I think that's the case here.
