Cyndi Lauper, who was a major part of WWE's national expansion and the first Wrestlemania has once again been nominated to be voted into The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Lauper has regularly recognized her time with WWF on stage, often dedicating the song The Goonies 'R' Good Enough to Roddy Piper, The Fabulous Moolah, Andre the Giant annd others who she worked with during that time period. Wendi Richter appeared in the absolutely excellent Lauper documentary Let The Canary Sing, which is streaming now on Paramount+. Lauper is in the midst of a farewell concert tour.
