WWE is holding a pre-sale today for the Tuesday 3/11 NXT Roadblock in The Theater in Madison Square Garden.
The pre-sale kicks off at 10 AM Eastern using code SOCIAL at this link.
Advertised locally for the event are NXT Champion Oba Femi, NXT Women's Champion Giulia, NXT North American Champion Tony D'Angelo, Trick Williams, and Stephanie Vaquer.
Over the years, the Theater in MSG (formerly The Paramount Theater) has hosted pro wrestling from time to time, including a NXT live event in 2016 and as well as two Lucha Libre AAA events, several WCW house shows and even a GLOW event in the '80s. In its days known as The Felt Forum, the venue would routinely broadcast WWF house shows that were sold out in the Garden via closed circuit on the theater's big screen. There has been tons of combat sports hosted in the venue as well, including boxing, MMA and even sumo wrestling.
Roadblock would be the first-ever WWE broadcast from The Theater in MSG, but not the first match as the Owen Hart vs. Ken Shamrock Lion's Den Match at Summerslam 1998 was held on the stage of The Theater. The rest of the event was held in Madison Square Garden itself.
