This weeks “From The Vault” match is Jake Something facing Kevin Knight on the 7/20/23 edition of Impact!
Here is Adam Cardoza’s recap of that match:
Match 2: Jake Something vs Kevin Knight
Poor Kevin Knight. He has to share the ring with a returning and highly motivated Jake Something. Knight trying to out maneuver the big man but Something just bowls him over with a body splash. Huge clothesline. Hard chop as Knight is trapped in the ropes. Kevin gets a foot up and sends Jake to the apron. Good triangle dropkick and cross body to the floor finally puts Jake on his back for the first time. Something weathers the storm and blasts Knight back down. Hard shots. Inside out clothesline. Knight crawling to the ropes…he stuns Something with an enziguri. He goes for a rana but Jake catches him out of the air and hits a stout bomb off the second! Kick out?!? Knight tries to stand and trade. Bad move. Something decks him stupid. Knight popped up and hits a dropkick on the way down! High cross body for two! Another high crop body! Something keeps kicking out but I’m impressed with this fight that Knight is bringing! He goes for it again but Something catches him out of the air. Into the Void! Three count!
Winner: Jake Something

Miller talks about training at George South’s pro wrestling school alongside Evans, Evans talks about adopting her dog “Cowboy.” Miller talks about her experiences with her dog “Selena” to end the segment.
- Highlights are shown of Fraxiom defending the NXT Tag Team Championships against The Nemeth Brothers on TNA Impact.
Jake Something vs. Jason Hotch w/John Skyler vs. Laredo Kid
The match begins with Something overpowering his foes in a triple test of strength, Something knocks Hotch out of the ring before attacking Kid. Something drops Kid with multiple shoulder tackles before Hotch got him out of the ring, Hotch then hits Kid with a spinning head kick for a near fall. Kid fights back and he cracks Hotch with a few strikes, Kid then drops Hotch with a Michinoku Driver before knocking Something back to the arena floor. Kid missed a move from the top rope before eating a pump kick from Hotch, Hotch and Kid have a striking exchange before Something returns to drop them both multiple times. Something then hits Kid with a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Hotch attacks Something and he nails him with an enziguri. Something gets angry and he levels Hotch with a forearm strike, Skyler interferes and he gets Hotch out of the ring. Something leaves the ring and he goes after Hotch and Skyler until Kid takes him out with a suicide dive, Kid gets Something back in the ring and Skyler interferes again before getting taken out.
Hotch returns and he sends Kid from the top rope to the arena floor, Something then hits Hotch with a sidewalk slam for a three count.
