Cassandra Frazier, the widow of the late Nelson Frazier, who performed for WWE as Mabel and Viscera, has published a memoir titled Behind Closed Doors in WWE: The Story of a Fallen Wrestler

Promotional material notes:

Behind Closed Doors in WWE: The Story of a Fallen Wrestler is a powerful, no-holds-barred memoir by Cassandra Frazier, offering an intimate look into her life and relationship with Nelson, a professional wrestler in the WWE.

The book details Cassandra's personal struggles—navigating a toxic marriage, working as a hotel night auditor, and performing as a part-time stripper—before she meets Nelson, whose wrestling career changes her life forever.

As Cassandra and Nelson's relationship deepens, she gives readers an insider's view of the harsh realities of the wrestling world. The unrelenting schedule, physical toll, and lack of support from WWE devastate Nelson's health.

Cassandra is by his side as he battles through illness, exhaustion, and the emotional rollercoaster of a career that treats its wrestlers as disposable commodities. The memoir also explores Cassandra's personal growth and her unwavering love for Nelson, all while facing the struggles of life behind the scenes in the wrestling industry.

Through heartbreak, humor, and resilience, Cassandra reveals the sacrifices made in the name of love and the challenges of supporting a loved one in one of the most physically and emotionally demanding careers. Behind Closed Doors in WWE is an eye-opening narrative about love, sacrifice, and the unseen struggles of professional wrestlers, particularly those marginalized within the industry.

Frazier, who was the 1995 King of the Ring tournament winner and held the WWE Tag Team and Hardcore Championship passed away in February 2014 following a heart attack.  A year later, Cassandra filed a wrongful death lawsuit against WWE, but it was later thrown out of court.

The book was officially released on 2/1 and can be ordered on Amazon and other book outlets.
