Who Are The WWE Stars That Love Horses?

By Kendall Jenkins on 2025-02-10 06:58:00

When you think of WWE superstars, you are probably imagining giant figures slamming each other in the ring, right? You are definitely not imagining them riding horses in the countryside.

Well, you’re wrong. Horses have always been one of the most popular animals that have made a special connection with us humans. That’s why even WWE stars share a passion for these majestic animals, in fact, some of them, have also transitioned to become full racehorse owners.

Most of them want to be around horses just because it is relaxing, and some of them really love horse racing for its adrenaline rush.

But one thing is for sure, many WWE stars share a passion for horses.

Charlotte Flair

First, we have Charlotte Flair, who is one of the most decorated WWE female wrestlers of all time. But what most people don’t know about Charlotte is that she has a soft heart for horses.

This passion was born from a young age, and despite joining the WWE she always remembered her true roots.

But she isn’t in for the business. In other words, she likes spending time with horses just because it relaxes her. She is not big on horse racing events but loves spending time on the ranch riding them.

She once said, “Horses are my escape. When I’m riding, it’s just me and the horse—nothing else matters.”

To be honest, it is not that surprising that she is into horses. After all, she found a way to incorporate her horse passion into her WWE persona, as most of us remember that she incorporated many equestrian elements like horse-themed gear and entrances in the WWE.

Frank Miller

When we talk about crazy transitions, we have to mention Frank Miller. He is a retired WWE wrestler who lived the life of a rockstar traveling the world and performing in Europe, Asia, Australia, and of course, the United States.

But after his wrestling career was finished, he continued with the same thing and became a WWE announcer.

Since he retired at 52 years old all of a sudden, a new passion was born - horse racing. He became a racehorse trainer. It is quite odd to see a professional WWE wrestler becoming a racehorse trainer, but there you have it.

The most surprising thing is that he is quite successful in the horse racing world. He coached more than 35 prize-winners and has earned more than $700,000 throughout his horse training career.

Since he owns a racing stable at Churchill Downs Trackside Training Center, it wouldn’t surprise us if he trains a horse to enter the Kentucky Derby. So, if you plan to place a bet on the 2025 Kentucky Derby online, make sure to keep an eye on his name.

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch, aka “The Man,” is one of WWE’s biggest stars and a trailblazer for women’s wrestling. But before she was headlining Wrestlemania, Becky grew up in Ireland, where she developed a love for horses. In interviews, she talked about how riding horses was a big part of her childhood and how it helped shape her strong work ethic.

While Becky’s wrestling career has taken center stage in recent years, her love for horses hasn’t faded.

She’s often shared photos and stories about her equestrian adventures on social media, proving that even the toughest wrestlers can have a soft spot for animals. As Becky once said, “There’s something about horses that keeps you grounded. They remind you of where you came from.”

The Undertaker

The Undertaker is one of the most iconic figures in WWE history, known for his eerie persona and legendary WrestleMania streak. But behind the dark makeup and trench coat, Mark Calaway (The Undertaker’s real name) is a devoted family man with a love for horses.

The Deadman owns a ranch in Texas, where he spends much of his time riding and caring for horses.

It isn’t even that shocking for The Undertaker to be interested in horses. After all, he always had that cowboy style even in the WWE. There was also one time in the Royal Rumble in 2006 when he appeared in the WWE riding a horse, which was the first time ever someone entered on a horse.

In interviews, The Undertaker has spoken about how horses have been a source of peace and relaxation for him, especially during the grueling WWE schedule. He’s even incorporated his love for horses into his personal life, often taking his family on trail rides and teaching his children about horsemanship. It’s a side of The Undertaker that fans rarely see, but it’s a testament to his multifaceted personality.

Mickie James

Lastly, we have a four-time WWE Women’s Champion that transitioned to horses. But this wasn’t a sudden transition. In fact, she grew up with horses, which is where her passion for these animals comes.

Now she owns a farm and a couple of horses, and we can see a lot of riding pics that she shares on social media. Mickie is without a doubt one of the most passionate WWE horse enthusiasts on the list.

Final Words

So, there you have it. Even WWE stars have a soft spot for these majestic creatures. Sometimes, all it takes is one introduction to a horse or going to a horse racing event, and a new passion can be born.
