*The Hurt Syndicate of Bobby Lashley & MVP came down to the ring with a messag. MVP wants to have us all to raise our glasses to celebrate one half of the new AEW World Tag Team Champions and the future AEW World Champion, Bobby Lashley. MVP says they have reservations at the Steakhouse and for all of us to carry on with our regularly scheduled entertainment.
*Lexi Nair brings Mo Jabar to the ring. Lexy lets us know that Jabari was to face Tommy Billington tonight however Billington was injured last night and now tomorrow Mo will face champion Michael Oku for the championship. The Masked Brother comes out and says he hates people who think they are getting a free pass and says Jabari has to get through him to get to Oku. Jabari immediately rolls up Masked Brother for the win. Oceanic Champion Michael Oku comes out and lets Jabari know he’s not gonna have it easy tomorrow & they are gonna tear the house down.
The Learning Tree of Big Bill & Bryan Keith defeated The Grizzled Young Vets. Bill & Keith worked face and are super over with the Cruise crowd. Real fun solid match with some fun comedy spots that even included an impromptu teased match between Drake & Gibson but they ended it with a hug before Big Bill slammed their heads together. Post match, as Bill & Keith are celebrating MxM Collection hit a double low blow on them and MxM & GYV fought together against members of Learning Tree until Chris Jericho came running down with a steel chair and chased them off. He said that tomorrow night it’s MxM Collection & Grizzled Young Vets vs The Learning Tree & a mystery partner
Ricochet defeated Serpentico.
Lance Archer & Brian Cage & AEW International Champion Takeshita defeated Black Machismo Jay Lethal & Mark Briscoe & AEW TNT Champion Daniel Garcia. Lethal grabs his glasses and says he wants to start the match against Giant Gonzales (Archer). After they tie up and Archer pushes him off he takes the mic again and says he made a mistake.. he wants to start the match with Lex Luger (Cage) and he didn’t forget about the steal plate in his arm.. it’s illegal. After some power moves from Cage and an attempted Torture Rack, Lethal says he changed his mind again and he can do that. He wants to finish things one and for all against Ricky The Dragon Steamboat (Takeshita) they battle as Takeshita hits a few arm drags and does Steamboat’s trademark poses.
ROH World TV Champion Kommander defeated Nick Wayne.
