TMZ.com is reporting that WWE is in discussions with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki "Bella" Garcia about potentially returning to the ring.
PWInsider.com can independently confirm that among some in the women's locker room, there was a belief Bella would be returning after the Raw in Los Angeles, but that return has not yet happened.
We are told there are active discussions about Garcia appearing on future WWE programming, including potential in-ring appearances.
We were told yesterday there are some who believe she may even be at the WWE Performance Center soon. As of today, she has not been there.
Given we are in such close proximity to the Royal Rumble on 2/1, it's natural to ask if she's slated for that event. As of today, we have not confirmed that she is.
Garcia last competed for WWE in the 2022 Women's Royal Rumble bout.
During an appearance on her podcast, Garcia made it clear that any past issues between her and the company are done, commenting, "We had that rocky road with WWE.
The one thing, as I’ve grown over the past few years and have continued to work on myself, I realized times where I’ve made outbursts out of emotions that I probably shouldn’t have done, and then there are times where I can recognize that I felt hurt and I wanted to be heard, but it probably wasn’t the right thing to do. This is why things were rocky."
Garcia noted that she felt at home at the Raw Netflix premiere, noting, "“I felt all these emotions because I felt at home, and I was so happy to be home. Then, to be so accepted and loved felt so incredible because things were rocky, and there is nothing better than…..when you have that moment of making up and knowing this bond is so strong because it is pretty much like blood, and we just are family and will always be connected. There is no better feeling than going back home and feeling that. Knowing we’ve mended everything and had great conversations……It was like being at Christmas dinner or a family reunion. All is well, we’ve all made up, and I recognize that we are very fortunate to be part of not only such a great company but to be in a place where we’ve seen this place grow so much. It felt so good.”
So good that it's likely not her last appearance.
Stay tuned as we confirm more.
