Sting announced that 2025 will be the last year that he will be suiting up in character and facepaint as "Sting" when he appears at pop culture conventions and signings:

As much as I have loved interacting with you all in the traditional Stinger war paint, I’ve decided that 2025 will be my last year appearing in full gear.

The former NWA, WCW and TNA Champion officially retired last year at AEW Revolution.
He may continue to make appearances but will not wear his facepaint and gear.
