It was travel hell for just about everyone getting to the taping due to flight delays across the country, which led to missing of connecting flights, etc. Will Ospreay was in his street clothes in part because Delta lost his bags while he was changing flights in Atlanta - even though there was a multi-hour delay for that flight.
After AEW went off the air, Adam Copeland cut a promo promising to return to Knoxville as AEW Champion. Tony Khan came out and said that he loved Smoky Mountain Wrestling as a kid and that getting to promote the Knoxville market was a dream come true - and it would not be the last time.
