Netflix has the ability to stream its content in 4K, a feature that most cable TV channels still don't have. Did you notice an increase in the video/picture quality of RAW on Netflix, as compared to RAW on the USA network? Watching on a 4K tv, there was a noticeable improvement, which is a great benefit of the move to Netflix that I haven't heard much talk about.
I don’t have a 4K TV so I watch in standard HD. I can’t say I noticed a better picture than I get from USA.
Monday morning it was announced that WWE will have a stake in Hulk Hogan's Real American Beer, with branding on RAW mats every week. As a former Hulkamaniac who lost all respect for Hogan for obvious reasons, I'm curious why you think WWE would make a deal like this and continue to want to be affiliated with Hogan in the 2020s when his brand is pretty tainted.
I have to think it was because they didn’t realize how much Hogan has tainted his brand in the eyes of many. I do know that they were taken by surprise by the reaction that he got on the first Netflix Raw.
I largely enjoyed the first Raw on Netflix and part of that, admittedly, was the Mania-level card. Do you see there being more “massive” Raws over the next year since the PLE’s will still be on Peacock in the US? I can’t imagine Netflix enjoying their hot, highly publicized acquisition promoting larger cards and events on a competitors streaming platform, even if it’s somewhat temporary and something known when entering this agreement.
I would love to see Raw build to the kind of super shows that NXT ran back when HHH is booking but it will be really hard with their many TV commitments. As for PLEs, remember Netflix shows them in many places outside of the US so they benefit from them too. It will be interesting to see if they go for the American market when the Peacock deal expires next year.
So am I the only one that had a problem with the rock drinking tequila then driving and then that guy smoking a blunt showing drugs are ok and when you're a star you can do things in an arena no one else can?
Well, you are also watching a show where people attack others in felonious fashion and never get arrested, so it kind of comes with the territory. I get your point however.
I was watching some old episodes of SNME and Demolition was in a battle royal. Who played the part of Smash before Barry Darsow took it on?
That was Randy Colley, who was better known as Moondog Rex.
