I liked the scissor angle with Ricochet and Swerve last week and I liked Swerve coming out this week all serious looking like he's ready to murder Ricochet was perfect but Nana doing his stupid dance in the corner totally ruined it for me AND made it look like a comedy segment. Did you feel that way as well or am I off base here?

You have every right to like what I like. Me? Not much of what Tony Khan is booking appeals to me. I am not one of his sickos I guess.

Since I don't buy AEW PPV's, I enjoyed seeing cool matches like Ospreay-Ricochet, Allin-Ricochet, and Allin-Ospreay for free in the Continental Classic. Still, all of those bouts are "dream matches" for the AEW audience that were given away without any fanfare, TV build, or a PPV payoff. Why would TK cost himself months of great TV with fresh stories that lead to a big PPV match and give these matches away for free? I'm no 4-time "Booker of the Year", but I think TK blew 3 possible PPV main events in matches few will remember, except for being good in themselves. Your thoughts?

First off, Tony Khan is not a four time booker of the year either.  He has been gifted that award by a fan base that likes all action and matches, not quality character building and storytelling.  TK is terrible at both of those things.  He likes action, work rate and “5 star matches” so that’s what he books.  And you are right on the money, he gives everything away way too soon. That’s why he is such a bad booker.

I enjoyed Penta's work in AEW, but depending on the opponent, I would fast forward through his matches. But, DAMN! His WWE debut made him seem more relevant to me in 15 minutes than the past 4 years. Everything from the set-up angle with Gable, to his character presentation, the entrance, to fans with Penta masks already in the audience, to his daughters crying in the front row, the fun match itself, and the post-match interview was top notch and "A+" execution all the way. What do you think TK thought when he saw his former midcarder presented in such a light where he was OVER LIKE ROVER to a WWE audience on NIGHT 1 - that may not be familiar with his career accolades?

I wish I could say that TK saw that reaction and saw everything wrong with how he presents his product but as I said above, he’s a “sicko” that likes lots of moves and action. It’s pretty clear to me now that he has no idea how to build characters of tell stories so Penta’s reaction was probably lost on him, sadly.  But you right on the money, WWE did a great job with Penta’s debut.

Moreover, what do you Will Ospreay and other big AEW starts thought when they see their former colleague get a debut like that?

In some cases I am sure that there was some jealousy. I know talents in AEW that wish Tony would give the book to someone competent. But, there are also wrestlers that think like him and stories don’t matter at all, the moves and the matches are all that is important.

Heard anything about Joe Hendry showing up at the Royal Rumble?

I have not and honestly, I don’t want to know.  I want the surprises to be a surprise since the booking is so good right now. I want to watch it all unfold. With that said, as I said on the show with Mike J this week, it wouldn’t surprise me at all if Hendry makes an appearance.
