United States District of Connecticut District Judge Sarah F. Russell issued a ruling today on Janel Grant's attempts to have a status conference on her lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE and John Laurinaitis, denying the motion.
Judge Russell noted that the previous stay (pause) in the lawsuit has been lifted, so Grant can file her amended complaint against the defendants by 1/31 and can include any argument in that filing.
The Judge also ruled that WWE and McMahon's attempts to move the case to arbitration are currently denied until after Grant files an Amended complaint. If she does not, the court may make a ruling on that matter after 1/31.
