IT’S WEDNESDAY!!!!! You know that means AEW is LIVE with Dynamite from Cincinnati, OH. We’re at the Brady Music Center. Excalibur, Taz and Tony Schiavone are reunited and it feels so good.
We start with a preview of The Death Riders. Great idea showing this to new fans who may be tuning in. Then we get a feature on Powerhouse Hobbs. Makes the main event seem a little more special. Looks like we’re getting a full video preview of the card. No complaints here
Brian Cage w/Don Callis and Lance Archer vs. Kenny Omega
Lockup, shove by Cage. Omega with punches. Chop by Omega. Kick by Omega into a pair of sliding dropkicks. Running charge by Omega. Axehandle by Cage into a forearm. Kick by Omega. Backdrop by Cage. Big fallaway slam by Cage. Belly to belly by Cage into a lariat. Boot by Omega Hurancanrana by Omega, Cage retreats to the floor. Omega goes for a dive but Archer blocks him. Lariat by Cage. Action spills to the floor. Omega gets sent into the rail. Press slam by Cage onto the announce table. Callus gets a few cheap shots as we go to commercial.
We are back and it’s a superplex by Cage for 2. Action is now on the ramp and Cage powerbombs Omega back into the ring and scores a 2 count. Kick by Omega. Omega misses a moonsault and Cage scores a 2. Cage to the top and Omega with punches and a running knee strike. Omega slips out of a German suplex. Knee strike into a V Trigger by Omega. One Winged Angel and Omega scores the pin.
WINNER KENNY OMEGA
Kyle Fletcher and Lance Archer attack. Will Ospreay makes the save. Omega hits a V Trigger and Ospreay with a hidden blade to Archer. Konesuke Takeshita comes in and attacks Omega. Fletcher joins him. They double team Ospreay as well. Omega and Ospreay are left laying. THe Don Callis Family celebrates on the ramp.
We see a video package about MVP and the Hurt Syndicate
The Learning Tree is backstage hyping Collision. This is intentionally horrible but I admit it’s funny.
Ricochet, in full suit and tie, comes out. He wants the crowd to be quiet. By the way the crowd is lively so props to Cincinnati for being alive for tonight. The let him know this is Swerve’s House. He shows a picture on the screen of a bloody Swerve from the attack a few weeks ago. Prince Nana nails Ricochet with a chair from behind. Swerve walks out. Ricochet runs away and Swerve chases him away.

Private Party & Mark Briscoe vs. The Hurt Syndicate
It’s a pier six brawl at the outset as the Hurt Syndicate attacks. MVP works over Briscoe in the ring. A little Red Neck Kung Fu for 2 by Briscoe. Briscoe with punches. Boot to the face by MVP, he sends Briscoe to the floor. Benjamin sends Briscoe to the rail and a slam as we go to commercial.
We are back and it’s MVP laying it in to Briscoe. Double chop by MVP into an elbow drop for 2. Fisherman Suplex for 2 by MVP. Running forearm by Briscoe he makes the tag to Zay. Shelton Benjamin tags in. Body press and a dropkick by Zay. Double dropkicks by Private Party. They assist a suicida by Briscoe. Zay and MVP go to the floor but I think Quen is legal now. Running kick by Zay. Quen eats a chokeslam. LAshley spears Zay. MVP with a kick to Briscoe on the floor. Benjamin with a superkick on Quen for the pin.
WINNERS THE HURT SYNDICATE
We see highlights from the Rated FtR and Death Riders feud.
Jeff Jarrett comes out. MJF immediately interrupts him. He tells Jarrett he had the audacity to turn down his offer last week. MJF tells him not to interrupt him ever again. He mocks Jarrett’s past, including his alcoholism. He does want Karen Jarrett to stick around. He makes a real raw joke about Kurt Angle. Jarrett fires back on the mic. He calls MJF’s mom a call girl mother. I gotta give credit, these guys aren’t holding back. Jarrett breaks out the one hit wonder chant. Now MJF is referencing Owen Hart. Man I hope he doesn’t go there. Jarrett attacks him. Security breaks it up. Jarrett gets away. Karen Jarrett gets in there and gets shoved into Jeff. MJF runs off.
Christian Cage w/Nick Wayne’s ridiculously gorgeous mother vs. Hook
Hook attacks Cage in the aisle. They’re brawling on the floor. Chops by Cage. They make it to the ring, Cage bails and walks off. Hook chases and catches him. They brawl back to the ring. Cage beggs off. Cage higs Hook but eats a belly to belly. 10 punches in the corner. Cage bails as we go to commercial.
We are back and Cage with a clothesline. Cage with punches in the corner. Nick Wayne and Kip Sabian have come out. Hook sends Cage to the floor. Elbow strike to the jaw by Hook. LEg sweep onto the steps. Frog Splash for 2 by Cage. Another splash for 2 by Cage. Spear by Cage for 1. Hook fires back with punches and throws. Northern lights for 2 by Hook. Fisherman for 2 by Hook. Hook tries the Redrum but Cage makes the ropes. Eye gouge by Cage and he sends Hook to the floor. Katsayori Shibata is out there for protection. Redrum by Hook and Sabian and Wayne interfere out in the open and the ref calls for the bell.
WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION HOOK
They set up a conchairto to Hook and Samoa Joe comes out for the save. Shibata with a PK to Sabian.
We get video from last week’s men’s Gauntlett Match. Seems like some new feuds are coming out of it.
Rene Paquette is with Jeff Jarrett. Dustin Rhodes shows up and gives Jeff a pep talk.
Mariah May comes out to the commentary booth.
Women’s Casino Gauntlet
#1 is Kris Statlander based on her victory last week. #2 is Jamie Hayter. Lockup, neither woman can get the edge. Shoulder block, neither woman budges. They each miss clotheslines. Suplex by Hayter, countered by Statlander.
#3 is Megan Bayne. She was in AEW a long time ago apparently. She saunters to the ring and squares off with Statlander. Running uppercut by Bayne. Spear by Bayne. Bayne with a Michinoku Driver for 2, broken up by Hayter. DDT by Hayter to Bayne.
#4 is Julia Hart. She’s baiting Hayter to fight on the ramp. We go to commercial.
We are back and #5 is Willow Nightingale. She and Bayne slug it out. Bayne with a boot to the face. Bayne with clubbing blows. Willow and Statlander with a double suplex to Bayne. They now trade chops. Pounce by Willow.
#6 is Toni Storm. She rolls up Willow for 1. Snap mares by Storm to all the ladies. Bayne throws Storm onto Statlander. Willow with a clothesline to Hart and she splashes Bayne on the floor. Cannon ball by Statlander to Willow and Bayne. #7 is Harley Cameron. She goes on the attack with an enziguiri to Hart for 2. Backbreaker by Hayter to Hart. Hayley with a rollup. Hart with mist in Harleys eyes but Storm hits a small package for the pin.

AEW World Championship: Jon Moxley w/Marina Shafir vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
Pac and Claudio Castignoli have come to ringside. Moxley fires punches but Hobbs with a suplex. Hobbs now pounds away at Moxley. Forearm smashes by Hobbs. Ineffective chops by Moxley. Hobbs with a shoulder tackle. Moxley bails and Hobbs follows him. He punches Moxley and sends him into the ring. Boot to the face by Moxley. Tope suicida by Moxley. They go into the crowd and fight right by my boy Josh Fields (HI JOSH).
Punches by Moxley back in the ring. Hobbs drives Moxley into the corner. Hobbs is biting Moxley’s ear. Shoulder block to the floor by Hobbs as we go to commercial.
We are back and Moxley with a cutter. Moxley is bleeding out of his ear. Forearm exchange. Hobbs blocks a Death Rider. Shoulder Block by Hobbs. Lariats by Hobbs. World’s Stongest Slam for 2 by Hobbs. Powerslam off the top by Hobbs but Moxley applies an armbar. Hobbs makes the ropes. Wheeler yuta with a Busaiku Knee on the ramp while the ref is distracted. Spine Buster by Hobbs. Shafir nails Hobbs with the briefcase and Mxley scores a 2. Paradigm Shift for 2. Bulldog choke and Hobbs passes out.
WINNER AND STILL AEW WORLD CHAMPION JON MOXLEY
The Death Riders swarm Hobbs. They go after the knee. They go for Pillmanization and nail it. Rated FtR finally show up and clear the ring. The Death Riders run off as we go to credits
