Rick Harris aka Black Bart passed away this morning, his wife officially announced on his Facebook page, writing, "You might know him as Black Bart but to me he was my husband Ricky. He left us this morning . He was pronounced at 5:26 this morning . He is Resting In Peace"
Harris had been battling liver cancer for some time and made the decision to discontinue treatment several weeks ago.
Harris had a lengthy run across a number of promotions and terriories, including the WWF, World Class Championship Wrestling, The NWA, the GWF and The UWF. Canada's Slam Wrestling published an excellent piece on his career at this link.
