Obviously WWE was very lucky with the Los Angeles wildfires hitting after their TV shows. I was wondering if any WWE talents were stuck in Los Angeles and what you think would have happened if WWE had to cancel the shows?
I am told the majority of talents flew out via red-eye flights after Raw and/or NXT, so they were scheduled to get out of town before the fires broke out. It's possible some were delayed leaving but I haven't heard of any issues. This wasn't like the volcano erupting in Europe keeping everyone from flying back to the United States.
My feeling is that if they had to cancel the tapings, they would have just pushed back the Netflix debut a week and aired a repeat for NXT on the CW Network, then held New Year's Evil a week later. I don't think they would have had a choice as it would have been an impossible effort to move their entire production with so little notice.
The Rock cursed quite a bit, so will this be the norm for WWE Raw going forward?
Maybe but those curses were later bleeped out of the replay, so probably not.
What do you think of Topps being back with WWE?
TKO is all about money. Nothing else. They will go with who pays them the most.
Would you go check out the WWE PPVs in that reality arena that was talked about in the press release?
If they had a location in NYC for it, I'd like to do it once for the experience. I don't see myself flying to another State to experience it.
Is Bruce Prichard back in his same role or was he demoted?
Same role. You don't get demoted for taking time off for family issues.
