Did you know that Raw was on Netflix starting tonight? It doesn’t seem like WWE has made it clear enough does it?
Wow, now that you mentioned it, I seem to remember hearing something about that.
How can you say that Vince Russo is not in the wrestling business when he is booking a company in Colorado?
Easily, "in the business" means working for something beyond one independent. If you consider someone who works for an indy on the same scale as Will Ospreay or Seth Rollins, fine. You see things a lot differently than I do.
I know you guys haven't done a PWInsider's year end's best in quite a while for reasons you've mentioned before, but are there any things you feel deserve recognition from 2024? It doesn't necessarily have to be best and worst wrestler, most improved on the mic, etc. It can be, say, tighter storylines, characters having memories, production taking chances with new things, and other things that have either improved the fan's enjoyment or taken away from it in 2024.
Staying with the positive, The WWE product has been great. Lee Fitting, despite his alleged past issues at ESPN, has made the presentation of WWE so much better. It was great to have Jesse Ventura return. Liv Morgan had an amazing, breakout year. Those pop off of the top of my head.
Is there anything in wrestling for 2025 that you:
Are excited for/looking forward to?
Want to start happening?
Want to stop happening?
Hope that won't happen?
I look forward to WWE’s booking continuing to be great. I would want Tony Khan to start booking AEW in a way that would make it enjoyable. I want him to stop booking it in a way that makes watching his shows a slog. I hope that we have no deaths to report in 2025.
Just saw Swerve vs. Strong vs Jay White for first spot in gauntlet match next week and I was wondering why anyone would want to have the first spot in a gauntlet match? Wouldn't you wanna be last or am I wrong for thinking that?
You could argue that a babyface would want to take the hardest road while the heel would want to take the easiest.
