It is Saturday and AEW Collision is live at the Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, NC. Our commentary team is Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness.
We get the opening promos again, Mark Briscoe, Daniel Garcia, The Learning Tree, and Rated FTR all tell us they are going to win tonight.
Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting by Elton John is back.
Daniel Garcia (TNT Champion) vs Mark Briscoe
Matt Menard joins commentary.
They lock up and Murk is able to force them into the corner, where they break clean. They lock up again and move to waistlocks and break clean again. They lock up with side headlocks, and Mark is able to toss Garcia to the floor. When he follows, Garcia is already in the ring. They lock up again and go to arm bars. Mark gets a back trip and covers for one.
They go at it again and move to mat work, where Garcia wraps Mark’s legs around his and then slams Mark's knees into the mat. Mark gets a headlock takeover and as they do more mat work, they are able to block moves by the other. Mark goes to the floor and tells Garcia to fight him on the floor, and Garcia stays in the ring. Mark gets back in the ring and lays in chops in the corner and then hits a brain buster for one.
Garcia hits two suplexes and holds on for a neckbreaker for two. Garcia gets a few in the corner before Mark reverses it and knocks Garcia to the mat. Mark leaps onto him and then hits a flipping neckbreaker from the apron as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, they are throwing hands on the apron through the ropes. Garcia is able to get into the ring and they try to suplex each other, and they go over the top rope and to the floor. Garcia goes to get in the ring and Briscoe grabs him to try to fight on the floor. Mark tries to dump Garcia over the top, but Garcia escapes and they throw hands, then big boots and then suplexes until both men are down.
Mark hits a fisherman’s buster for two. Mark tries for the Jay Driller and has to switch it to a power bomb for two. Mark hoists Garcia and Garcia fights out of it. They throw hands in the middle of the ring and it just makes Mark mad. Garcia finally gets in a series of chops and they fight to the corner. Garcia is able to get a series of blows and then a shotgun dropkick. Garcia gets ten in the corner and follows with a pile driver for two.
Mark gets a back body drop and Garcia is able to recover quickly and to get the dragon tamer on Mark. Mark drives them into the ropes for the break. Garcia puts Mark on the top and they fight there and Mark knocks Garcia from the top and we are told three minutes remain. Mark hits Froggie Bo for two. Mark gets a Jay Driller for two as Garcia gets a foot on the rope. Garcia escapes a Death Valley driver and gets a jack knife pin for the win.

We see the Death Riders in the back and after Wheeler Yuta starts a challenge to Jay White, Jon Moxley stops him. Mox then talks about his respect for FTR as the best tag team of his generation. He then says they interfered in his business, but they were even. Now, they brought along Adam Copeland. He praises Cope and says he came up the hard way, but he’s always been a front runner. In the NEW World, survival comes at a cost and they need to evolve into something new.
We get a recap of Jeff Jarrett’s announcement that he has signed his last talent contract and it’s with AEW.
Jeff Jarrett vs the Already In The Ring Aaron Solo
Solo keeps trying to get at Jarrett as he gets in the ring. When the bell rings, Solo lays in blows and mocks Jarrett’s strut. Jarrett then takes over and hits the stroke twice for the pin and the win.

Private Party (Quen and Zay) AEW Tag Team Champion vs Lio Rush and Action Andretti
Rush and Zay start off and they are going at each other with massive speed. The tag team alarm goes off, and all 4 men are fighting in the ring and Private Party are able to dump their opponents. As it goes back to one on one, Rush gets a big clothesline on Zay, and he and Andretti double team Zay until Rush gets a two count.
Quen has been taken out on the floor and Zay is the babyface in peril as Rush and Andretti work him over with quick tags. They are still working him over as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Quen is still hurt on the floor and Zay is getting beat up by Rush and Andretti. Zay gets a spinebuster on Rush and crawls to his corner where Quen has finally gotten back up. Zay gets the hot tag but still sells his injured back. Quen has to tag in Zay after a short time and they try for Gin and Juice, but Quen’s back gives out. Rush gets a cutter on Quen and Andretti gets a Spanish Fly from the top. Rush and Andretti then hit Gin and Juice on Zay for two.
We see Top Flight are in the front row throwing popcorn at Rush and Andretti. The champs use the time to recover and all four men start brawling in the ring. After a few blows all four men are down with double clotheslines. Rush and Quen are in the ring, and Quen shoves Rush out of the ring. Which means it's time for dives as EVERYONE gets a dive.
Zay tags in and Quen hits a shooting star for two, broken up by Andretti. Andretti is tagged in and Zay gets Rush with a stunner. Andretti and Zay fight in the ropes. Andretti gets a cover with help from Zay, but Dante Martin knocks Rush’s hand away. Zay reverses the rollup for the pin and the win.
Winners and still Tag Team Champions: Private Party
We then have a video showing the attack on Darby Allin by the Death Riders
Lexi Nair is with Cope (and yeah, that’s what they are gonna call him, but is as good as any nickname), and he says if you attack his friends, he has a problem. He says that Mox said no one wants to be a world champion. Well, he’s ready to be a twelve time champion. Chris Jericho shows up and says he has a match with Cope and he’s a world champion again. Cope says he kinda likes him and it’s been fifteen years since they faced each other. Jericho says he doesn’t remember it so it must have meant more to him than it did to Jericho.
Cope says he must have been wrong because all he remembers about Jericho is that he’s an a$$h0le.
Toni Storm (a rookie) vs Deonna Purrazzo w/Taya Valkyrie
Toni holds out a hand and smiles. Deonna shakes her hand and they begin. They lock up with a greco roman knuckle lock and Deonna shoves Toni to the mat for one. They then start working flips. And as they are laying on the mat, Toni asks for another handshake, and Deonna slaps her and keeps on slapping. When Toni is on the apron, Taya attacks as well. Deonna works over Toni in the corner.
Toni pops out of the corner and gets shoulder tackle and Deonna tolls to the floor. Toni works over Deonna on the floor but when Toni tries to get in the ring, Taya attacks her. Deonna leaps from the apron onto Toni as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Toni hits a backbreaker and then a Thesz press. Toni gets a fisherman’s buster with a bridge for two. Toni grabs a step over toe hold, but Deonna gets to the rope for a break. Toni gets a hip attack and when she goes for a suplex, Deonna makes it a jack knife for two. Deonna gets a pump kick and covers for two. Deonna gets an arm bar and Toni gets to the rope for the break.
Toni blocks a Gotch style piledriver and they throw hands. Toni hits a DDT for two. Deonna drives Toni into the corner and runs into a back elbow. Taya tries to attack, but Toni punches her. Deonna uses it to get a rollup for two. Toni gets a ripcord rollup for the pin and the win.
Winner: Toni Storm
We are shown an argument between Adam Page and Christopher Daniels and Daniels says his anger is worthless. Page says he needed Daniels at World’s End. Page asks what Daniels has given anyone. He says when he looks at Daniels, he sees an old man who is still clinging onto a sport that left him behind years ago and slaps him.
Daniels then attacks Page and beats him down. Page says if that's what Daniels wants, he’ll get it, after Daniels storms off, his forehead busted open.
We get video from Wednesday night as Max Caster and Anthony have an argument in the back after losing their match.
The Beast Mortos vs Brian Cage vs Komander vs Dante Martin
A $100,000 High Speed Collision Match
We are told that Konosuke Takeshita won the Never Openweight title at Wrestle Kingdom.
Cage knocks Mortos out of the ring and Martin and Komander get rid of Cage and they trade a quick series of two counts until Mortos gets in the ring and breaks it up with a headbutt. Komander gets a spinning tejaris and then hits a top rope tornado onto Mortos. Martin then gets a two rope jump swan dive onto everyone on the floor. Lio Rush shows up and runs Dante into the steel steps. He and Andretti trash talk him until Cage tells them to leave.
We get Mortos and Komander in the ring and Mortos gets a Samoan drop. Cage gets a pump handle slam on Mortos as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cage slams Mortos and kicks Dante off the apron. Mortos gets an attack on Cage in the corner and then drops a knee onto him. Mortos gets a spinning back kick on Komander who runs the ropes and gets a leaping face plant on Mortos. Komander leaps from the top rope into a Destroyer on Mortos and Cage grabs him for a slam, and Martin gets a leaping somersault onto Cage. Martin gets a vertical suplex on Komander. Mortos his Destination Hellhole on Martin.
Cage and Mortos fight in the ropes and bring in Mortos the hard way. Komander hits Cage with a spinning DDT. Komander gets a poisonrana on Mortos. Cage catches Komander and hits the F5 and Dante gets a sunset flip. Cage then takes out Martin with a spinning discus lariat and a reverse slam on Martin for the pin and the win.
Winner: Brian Cage
FTR is in the back with the Rock and Roll Express and apologizes for attacking them before. The Outrunners show up and say they still owe them gas money from 1982.
The Learning Tree (Chris Jericho, Big Bill, and Bryan Keith) vs Rated FTR (Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, and Cope)
Jericho and Cope start off the match and Jericho tags in Keith before they lock up. We are told this is Cope and Jericho’s 100th match. Keith gets a side headlock and then they run the ropes. Cope hits a drop-kick and then tags in Dax. Dax tags Cash and Dax slingshots Cash into the ring for a two count on Keith. Keith scurries to his corner and tags in Bill. Dax is tagged in as well.
Dax works over Bill's leg in the corner and Bill is able to toss Dax into the corner and then works him over in the ropes. Dax is able to escape and then wraps Bill’s leg around the ring post. Keith comes over to stop him and Dax nails him as well. Cash is tagged in and they try to give a double backdrop to Bill and Bill instead takes them out as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Jericho and Cope both get hot tags and they face off. Jericho holds out a hand for a handshake before they start chopping each other. Jericho goes to the eyes and Cope gets a flying forearm and a flatliner. Cope starts for the Impales, but Keith cuts him off. Bill then takes out FTR who ran in to help. Jericho rolls up Cope with both feet on the ropes for two. Cope hits a DDT and sets for the spear.
Jericho catches Cope with a codebreaker for two. Bill tags in and works over Cope in the corner. Keith is tagged in and they keep up the attack on Cope. Cope is able to get a pullback slam and tags in Cash as Bill is tagged in. Cash hits Bill with a series of attacks and finally drops him with a cross body from the top for two.
Cash gets a rolling DDT for two. Dax is tagged in and they drag Bill to their corner and put him on the top. Bill starts to fight them off and knocks them both down before Dax climbs up again. They hit a double power plex and Cope joins in and Bill is covered for two. Bill clotheslines everyone down and slams Dax for two. Dax avoids a splash in the corner, but Jericho tags in and runs into a brainbuster from Dax broken up by Keith. Dax gets a sharpshooter on Keith and Jericho puts the walls on Cash right in Dax’s face. They release the holds and start slapping each other before Bill takes out Dax. Cope speaks Bill to the floor and then dives onto Bill from the top.
Cash then dives into Bill on the floor. Jericho and Dax trade blows back and forth. Dax gets to the top and as he gets ready to dive, Keith nails him with the Ring of Honor title belt. Jericho covers Dax for two. Cope spears Keith on the apron and Dax grabs a rollup on Jericho for two. Cash is tagged in and they hit Jericho with the Shatter Machine. Cope hits Jericho with a spear and Cash covers for the pin and the win.
Winners: Rated FTR
In the back, the Death Riders have tied up the Rock and Roll Express. The Outrunners show to save them, but they are attacked from behind. Rated FTR show up and drive off the Deathriders and the Rock and Roll Express are freed and we’re out of time!
