RAW VAULT UPDATE, WHAT HAS BEEN ADDED TO NETFLIX FOR WWE IN AUSTRALIA & CANADA

By Mike Johnson on 2025-01-01 12:16:00

Some WWE-Netflix updates:

The Raw Vault has been added to Netflix both domestically and internationally.  We are getting emails from readers pointing out some episodes are not there.  That was always going to be the plan.  They will be adding new content every month to that area.  Internationally, the Smackdown and NXT Vaults will be similar with new content added regularly.  They are not going to put everyhing up at once.  The idea is to keep people paying for new content.

Davd Roux in Canada sent the following:

Every WWE PPV, NXT, Smackdown and Raw Archive has been added.

Legend profiles -  5 minute profiles on active and retired WWE wrestlers.

Raw Classic: Classic promos or matches select talents were involved in.

Raw Top 10: Top 10 stuff on Raw - an example would be Top 10 Steel Cage Matches.

Road to Wrestlemania -  All the road to WM documentaries uploaded.

Nate Tyers in Australia sent the following rundown of what is now available for WWE Down Under on Netflix:

Every episode from NXT, RAW & SmackDown from 2022-24, with select episodes available outside of that - whilst also featuring 10+ yrs with no episodes

RAW: Nothing available between 2002-2021; 97 episodes between 1993 & 2001 (63 of which are from 96-99)

SmackDown: Nothing between 2009-2021. 13 of 20 eps from 1999, then 37 episodes from 2000-08 (10 of those from 2000).

NXT: NXT Arrival & the 36 Takeovers. No weekly episodes available from its most popular period yet.

PPVs: Hard to tell if things are missing as there isn't a single page to view things, I also haven't double-checked the major PPVs for gaps. They have a "premium live events" and a "classics" selection that will allow some ease of browsing - NB> some recent PLEs like Bash in Berlin appear in the classics. Old one-off events like Wrestling Classic & Tuesday in Texas are available. For some reason the 19 In Your House PPVs aren't part of either selection, but you can find them via search (they're all in one collection) - probably the only way anybody will realise they're available currently.

They've also added WWE as a category, but that page isn't the most helpful as it doesn't indicate that the Classics collection exists let alone allow you to browse it...and given the only way to access it, is if you click on something that happens to be in that collection...it is fairly counter-intuitive.

Special RAW exclusive compilations (should all be available in the US):

- best of 2024 (60mins)

- 5 episodes of "Top 10" RAW Matches: World Title (3hrs); Womens Title (143min); Intercontinental (135); Cage (137) and Tag Teams (174min)

- "RAW Classics" hosted by Big E: 20 episodes each with a compilation of matches from a featured wrestler ranging in length from 60-140mins.

The 20 are a mix of current stars and legends (with Rock conspicuously missing): Austin; Cody; Cena; Batista; Becky; Belair; Bret Hart; Charlotte; Punk; Angle; Lita; Orton; New Day; Rey; Reigns; Rollins; HBK; Trish; HHH & Taker. No real surprise that Cena, Austin & HHH have the longest compilations, with Rey and the women having the shortest, Charlotte being the exception (who actually has the 4th longest).

There is also Superstar Profiles - a smart education device for potential new viewers - 25 current talent feature in 2-4min summaries of their history in the company and their current character, surprisingly CM Punk isn't included.
