WWE SMACKDOWN REPORT: TEACHER OR STUDENT?, DREW HAS ISSUES . . . BUT THEY WILL WAIT, TAG TITLE MATCH, AND MORE

By Richard Trionfo on 2024-12-20 22:00:00

Your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

We start off with a look back at Saturday Night's Main Event, and what happened after the show went off the air.

We see many tag teams walking through different parts of the arena.

Solo Sikoa makes his way to the ring with Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga and they are dressed for a match.

Solo wants the show to acknowledge him.

Solo says Roman sat on his little boat and with Paul Heyman and challenged him to a Tribal Combat match for the Ula Fala on Raw on the Netflix debut.  He tells everyone to shut up and listen to him, so it means everyone makes more noise.  He says if Roman wants to challenge him to a Tribal Combat match and take him to war?  Let's do it.  Solo says he will leave his Bloodline behind and you leave your Bloodline behind.  He tells Roman to listen up.  He is walking in and walking out as the Tribal Chief.  On January 6th, he is still going to be the head of the table.  He says he will still be your Tribal Chief.  He will still have the Ula Fala.

After I beat your ass on January 6th, you can hop back on your little boat and sail off to the Island of Irrelevancy and you can finally acknowledge him.

Drew McIntyre's music plays and he makes his way to the ring.

Solo tells Drew he was happy when you kicked his brother Jimmy in the face last week, but you better have a damn good reason why you are interrupting him.

Drew says he will make it quick because it makes him physically sick to be this close without beating you within an inch of your life.  What about what I did to Jimmy, Jey, and Sami.  Are you laying in bed each night wondering when Drew is coming for you?  You were the one who cost him at Clash at the Castle.  You caused my family pain and suffering.  You are the one who stood up to Roman Reigns.  The only one in your family to have the balls to stand up to Roman.  The rest of them acted tough and when Roman snapped his fingers he didn't change.  Drew wonders what is he to do.

Drew says he starts working through his hit list and taking out more Bloodline people.  He wants Solo to take out Roman for good.  Once that is finished, then we finish our business.

Jimmy pulls Drew to the floor and he hits Drew with his crutch.  Jimmy sends Drew over the ringside barrier into the time keeper's area.

Byron is in the back with Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin.  Byron asks about his match against former friend Johnny Gargano.

Alex says he has one thought.  Payback.  That is it.  Chris says they have known Johnny for 20 years and he finally drops the mask.  Alex says he will make sure Johnny made the worst mistake.  He tells Chris he has this on his own and he hopes that Johnny will do the same.

We take a look back at more highlights from Saturday Night's Main Event.

We go to Byron with Chelsea and Piper after her victory.  He asks her about being announced as the champion.

Green puts her gum in Byron's hand and she says she knew it was going to happen.  She says worked her entire career to be an overnight success.  She tells Brian to say 'red, white, and green' with her.

Brian asks about how it feels to be like Harley Race.  Green says she is in the history books, where she belongs.  Now is the time, Brian.  Green says she is going to Disneyland and she wants this wrapped up.

We are back with a look at everything involving Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Corey mentions that Cody was stretchered out of the arena and was taken to a hospital.  He suffered no fractures and he is back home.

Kevin says that what happened after Saturday Night's Main Event was not his fault.  There are a lot of people to blame for it.  Cody Rhodes, the referees, Nick Aldis, WWE Management.  They are all to blame.  Kevin says he was screwed out of the championship.  What happened to him was a travesty and a tragedy.  He should be the Undisputed Champion, but he is not.  Kevin says he took the title because he deserves it.  He won't give it back until he gets what he wants.  You can only push a man so much until he snaps.

Kevin says the good news is that he hasn't snapped yet.  It could get much worse.  You don't want him to snap.  Kevin says what happens next is on all of you.

The ring is being set up for the Grayson Waller Effect.
