What WWE venue has the best live atmosphere?
I've always felt the Allstate Arena in Chicago is the best venue the company runs for ambiance and acoustics. Second, for me, is Madison Square Garden. The smaller the venue, usually the better the atmosphere.
With AEW running the Hammerstein Ballroom, do you think WWE will swoop in and try and steal the venue for NXT?
I can see WWE running Hammerstein down the line. Can they really steal it since they ran it before AEW existed? Did everyone steal the venue from ECW? Stop being silly. That said, I'd be shocked if NXT wasn't in the venue by Wrestlemania 41.
I've heard stories of Stevie Richards working in the ECW office under a fake name. Do you know what the fake name was? Did fans know it was Stevie?
I seem to remember it being Lloyd Van Buren. I knew it was Stevie at the time, but can't speak for whether anyone else knew. He worked in the old Philly office located within Carver W. Reed alongside Gabe Sapolsky.
Do you think this WWE ID stuff is leading to the return of EVOLVE or some sort of similar WWE-styled independent promotion?
I can't say yes 100% but I have to think there's some sort of grand plan here that lands in the area you are envisioning with Gabe Sapolsky overseeing it. I don't imagine them running a ton. To me, quarterly shows built off stories online could be the sweet spot. They could even use the EVOLVE name, since WWE owns it, at some point. I would be shocked if they didn't use the EVOLVE name.
When does AEW Rampage end?
The last episode on TNT would be tonight. Whether the series moves elsewhere, online or otherwise, remains to be seen. I can absolutely see Tony Khan wanting revive it.
