We are live at Boca Raton Pro Wrestling's Festival of Fights 2024 at the VIP Ballroom at CBI.
PRE-SHOW NOTES:
Swerve Strickland, Missy Hyatt and Brutus Beefcake in attendance.
Big Boom AJ appeared for a surprise meet and greet. He's in a walking boot. He had a massive line.
MJF is babyfacing the Jewish fans at the event and being normal MJF to everyone else.
There are about 350-450 in attendance. Very posh, high end crowd.
The Festival of Fights theme leans into Hanukah obviously.
RESULTS:
*Scramble match: Ariel Levy defeared Cha Cha Charlie, Steve Maclin, Tito Lincoln and Lakay. Lots of big moves. Tower of Doom spot, Everyone hit a series of finishers but the pins were broken up. Cha Cha hit his frog splash on Maclin but Levy broke it up. He put on Cha Cha's "magic hat" and made the pin. Levy won a "$5,000 check."
*Mad Man Fulton pinned Chris Masters with a chokeslam. Masters has put some size on.
*BRCW Cruiserweight Champion Neil the heel defeated Alan S2S Martinez.
*The Righteous defeated Better Together in a Spin the Driedel Match. BRCW President Matthew Maschler explained that the match will be contested under the rules that the Driedel Falls On. The choices were a Street fight, a hardcore match, a grudge match or NO DQ. It landed on a hardcore match. Lots of plunder and comedy.
*Colt Cabana, on the 30th anniversary of his bar mitzvah, defeated Bull James.
*Mark Long, a reality star from MTV, cut a promo and issues an open challenge for 3/9.
*Deonna Puranzzo defeated Chelsea Durden, who was wrestling in the Temple she attended growing up.
*BRCW Tag Team Champions Matt Riddle & Stallion Rogers defeated Anthony Greene & Matt Taven.
*MJF defeated QT Marshall when Big Boom AJ runs in and lays out QT. Before the match, Marshall cut a promo on The Costpo Guys and MJF. He renounced his Jewish heritage saying he's half Jewish but it was the worst part of him and he was going to show MJF his Catholic Side. MJF cut a promo saying he hates everyone equally but he's in Boca Raton, the second most magical place in the world beyond Long Island. He said he was Jewish and in front of his people and asked who wanted to see Marshall get a kangaroo kick in the nuts.
