I noticed a lack in any mention of the fact Hulk Hogan walked Colby Covington to the octagon for his UFC fight this weekend. I sincerely hope this isn't PWInsider intentionally avoiding mention of Hogan in your headlines based on his politics or past mistakes. Considering you have no trouble covering others who have past transgressions of their own (Steve Austin for example), that would be a rather nasty and petty double standard. Why the lack in coverage for this?
I think you need to put down the pipe son. Mike was at the WWE show. I couldn’t care less about UFC. I didn’t even know Hogan was at the show. Even if I did, that hardly deserves its own story. It was a retired wrestler walking a UFC Fighter to the ring. Don’t be an imbecile and make it political. People like you are what is wrong with America, you make everything personal and political.
Note from Mike Johnson: Apparently the person asking the question missed THIS HEADLINE: WHERE WAS HULK HOGAN LAST NIGHT, CHELSEA'S BIG WIN, NXT TEAM WINS GOLD IN BOOKER T'S REALITY OF WRESTLING & MORE which was posted Sunday afternoon at 12:32 PM Eastern.
With all the old timers that made an appearance at yesterday’s SNME, is it known why Hulk Hogan wasn’t there?
Well, apparently he was walking a UFC fighter to the ring! My guess is that with Jesse Ventura there they decided to keep Hogan away, which I would agree with. Jesse was there in an announcer role. He meant more to the show than Hogan would have.
How ridiculous is the broken neck injury angle they did with Cody Rhodes where the paramedics take the stretcher over 3 speeds bumps? How bad is that?
They definitely should have picked the stretcher up when they go to the bumps to sell it. I get that he was braced in but man, his body shook when they took him over those bumps. It was a real neck injury it could have done damage for sure.
As has become a norm, WWE put on another tremendous show with Saturday Night's Main Event. My questions are as followed:
Are you surprised to see WWE so ahead of the curve and constantly using social media in such a powerful way, such as with the Kevin Owens attack?
With Vince McMahon out to pasture, where he belongs, the people in charge now are on top of what is trending and topical. Plus, they are own by Endeavor so I am not surprised in the least that they are using all of the means available to them.
Thoughts on Jesse Ventura's work? I thought he did exceptionally well.
It was great to have Jesse back being, well, Jesse. I look forward to the next show.
