WWE's Sheamus and Drew McIntyre appeared on this morning's edition of FOX5's Good Day New York to officially donate $5,000 from WWE to the New York Food Bank as part of a major food drive being done by the FOX station today timed with the holidays.
They also gifted a WWE Championship belt to the Food Bank of New York City's Leslie Gordon, the President and CEO of the charity.
McIntyre said that as kids, he and Sheamus both dreamed of lifting the title up in the ring and they've been able to do that many times over the years but the best part of their job is to go into communities and meet real champions like Leslie.
This weekend's Saturday Night's Main Event show was plugged with Drew promising to beat up Sami Zayn on the show but noting today they were trying to spread some positivity.
Sheamus noted he will have the weekend off as he's nursing some broken ribs. He joked it's a "hell of a life."
McIntyre and Sheamus both came off great.
