What's your take on promotions extending talents' injury time if they aren't going to use them?

It's a complicated issue and there's no answer I can give here that's not going to make someone unhappy.

First, no matter what talent it is, I don't want to see them sidelined and not used, but we've seen it over the years in lots of promotions.  Why?   At the end of the day, both sides (promotion and wrestler) signed and agreed to the terms of a contract that allowed it.  When the talents did, they didn't expect to get hurt, but unfortunately, some did.

To me, If the promotion paid them their full salary and paid for surgeries/physical therapy when the talents were unfortunately hurt, doesn't the promotion deserve to have that talent work a little longer to make some of that money back?  Certainly, I can see that perspective from a business standpoint and in theory, I don't have an issue with that - although perhaps a more fair way of handling this would be that if a promotion is going to extend the contract, it should be stated to the talent upfront as soon as the injury happens.  It should NOT be something that is decided upon later on after the talent has returned and/or is expecting they are within range of finishing up.  Perhaps that's the happy medium, so that everyone knows immediately what the plan is.

I get why some fans would think it's great to be "paid to do nothing" if talents aren't going to be in the ring for say WWE or AEW or whoever, but most talents, especially younger ones, just want to perform and contribute, so I can why it would drive them nuts to not do so, especially since many see it as time is ticking away since they are always going to get older and the body ages - but again, at the end of the day, everyone agreed to the terms.

No one goes into the ring planning to get hurt (or at least I hope not!) but if they do, they agreed to the terms.  If someone doesn't like it, they need to make sure their representatives don't allow that clause in the deals.  If they don't have a rep handling their deals, well, that's an issue in itself that the talents can't blame anyone else for.

Who rebounds more in pro wrestling from appearing to be on the outs and then landing back in the thick of it - Jeff Jarrett or Gabe Sapolsky?

I think old Double J is undefeated in that department!

Oba Femi is back in NXT?  I thought it was reported he was going to the main roster?

PWInsider.com never reported that, and if anyone actually did, it was incorrect at the time.

I saw WWE sold their studio.  What does that mean for their production?

Nothing.  They had already moved their staff, equipment, etc. into the new Global Headquarters in Stamford, CT.

Can you tour WWE's new or old headquarters?  I am going to be in NYC the week of Christmas and wanted to see it in person.

There are no tours and the HQ is a private office, closed to the public.  You could visit and get a photo with the sculpture of the WWE title outside, but that's really it.   The former Titan Tower is empty and closed to the public as well.

Is Bruce Prichard gone from WWE?

No.

Whatever happened to Sonny Kiss?

Sonny's AEW deal expired and they've since worked for GCW and lots of other independents.  Sonny last wrestled in October.
