Did we ever get any explanation as to why Kenny Omega is coming back on a New Japan show as opposed to an AEW show?

Well, technically, it's being presented as a combined show, but I get where you are going with this.  My gut feeling is that it's happening because this is what Omega wanted after battling to come back, since Japan has always meant a great deal to him on a number of levels.  I am guessing he wants to try and show he can still be the Omega New Japan main event style performer and if he can, that will be a hell of an accomplishment given the nature of his illness, surgery and recovery.  After all that he has been through (and having endured the same surgery, I can attest to how awful the recovery was), Omega earned the right to call his own shot in my opinion.

Is it possible the show will air on Max?

I haven't heard anything about the show airing on Max, although I suspect TrillerTV will try and get the rights to stream it live.  If it does a great house, it wouldn't hurt AEW to be able to showcase the bouts with their talents on either Max or one of their TV shows to show what big "stars" they have internationally, similar to WCW doing the Japan Supershows in the 1990s.

I noticed Satnum Singh seems to wrestle Colt Cabana a lot.  Any idea why?

I am guessing that Cabana is there to basically be a Player/Coach vet to help Singh improve as a performer.  He's always been versatile so not really a surprise.

Are there any wrestlers you wanted to see live but never had the chance?

The only ones that come to mind, other than ones who passed away before I really started attending shows, are Toshiaki Kawada and Super Delphin.

Who do you think will be the first-ever AEW Hall of Famer?

Sting is the first name who comes to mind.

Has there ever been any talk of reviving the ROH Hall of Fame?

No, but I really wish they'd induct the late Joe Koff into it.  I think it'd be a fitting tribute to a really great man and they could invite his family to see first-hand how much pro wrestling and ROH really meant something to Joe on a deep, personal level.

You wrote awhile back that there were books about Ring of Honor coming out.  Any idea where they are?

Yes.  The one Shane Hagadorn was co-writing is finished and in the editing process for a release sometime next year I believe.  The Cary Silkin memoir had at least an initial draft written.  I don't know where that book is in terms of editing or release, but I'll reach out to Silkin and ask.  Once we hear more, I'll be writing about them.

If you could have one more conversation with someone from pro wrestling who passed on, who would it be?

Selfishly, Blackjack Brown.  There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of him or hear his voice in my head.  I love and miss him with all my heart.  He was a wonderful friend and sounding board and did a lot more than most will ever understand in terms of helping talents get to WWE, without ever wanting or asking for credit.
