AEW TAPING COLLISION TOMORROW, ORANGE CASSIDY TALKS, NEW HIRE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2024-12-11 10:13:00

AEW will tape Collision tomorrow in St. Louis at the Chaifetz Arena.

The Washington Post interviewed Orange Cassidy ahead of next week's Dynamite in DC at this link.  On his character being more at the forefront and cutting promos, Cassidy noted, "This is all out of my comfort zone,” he says. “I’m in uncharted territory. I mean, I was always in uncharted territory, right? There was never a blueprint I could look at.”  Cassidy said he crafted his persona to be something that would appeal to anyone watching.  “I really wanted [my style] to be something that you could bring to your friend who didn’t really watch professional wrestling, that you could watch and have a good time and understand it,”

Chris Provino has been hired by the company and will be working on sponsorships and partnerships we are told.  Provino was most recently with the XFL, but in the past worked for WWE as their Coordinator of International TV and Affiliate Marketing and later worked for UFC in different aspects of marketing and development for athletes as well as international business development.

AEW will not be commenting on the Rey Fenix situation.
