What Chad Gable did wrong?? Seriously I feel bad when someone is getting over but management just stop using them.
You need to realize that we are in a new world for WWE. Not everyone will be used all the time, and that is a good thing. From what I have been told WWE loves Gable. I believe he will be fine.
Is there a better example of why WWE is firing on all cylinders than the New Day angle? Based on the story telling, it would have been believable for any of the following scenarios: 1) Kofi & Woods decide to amicably part ways for singles glory, 2) Big E brings Kofi & Woods back together and manages them back to babyface tag glory, and 3) Big E comes back and they all turn heel. While nobody predicted Kofi & Woods to turn on Big E, it was shocking, satisfying, unpredictable, but logical - and not hot shotted! Now, I care about the New Day for the 1st time in at least 5 or 6 years. Your thoughts?
I agree with you 100%. That was great stuff from all three men. I look forward to the follow up. I think New Day needed a change and man, they got one. And to your other point, yes it’s great booking when a story can go in so many directions. That shows that great care and planning has been put into getting us to that point. I love it.
Since every AEW match ends up on the floor for minutes at a time with no counting by the referee would AEW be better off going the ECW route and saying from now on there will be no count outs in AEW?
AEW could learn a lot from the heyday of ECW and sadly, Tony Khan actually watched it in real time. If he studies the business, he has almost every failed every test that he has studied for. Your example is one of the many things wrong with the booking of Tony’s product. They have come a long way from the “rules matter” approach that they tried to establish when the company started.
This may be a silly question but I'll ask it anyway. If Zelina Vega doesn't win the women's IC title tournament does that mean HHH doesn't care about the push Zelina movement?
I wouldn’t say he doesn’t care about it but he is now going to blow up his long term booking over it either. I am sure he is aware of it and considers it but if it doesn’t jive with his opinion on who the first champion should be he will probably go with his gut, as a good booker will do.
Women’s Cup Qualifier/ Continental Classic). What makes AEW think this will help viewership and ticket sales. To me it just seems something to fill up the time. I get it, TK likes to play match maker, it’s his company, but there has to be something that makes him think this is a great idea. What am I missing?
I don’t think you are missing anything. The current booking is what I call empty calories. None of it really matters so it’s just matches for the sake of matches. That is probably why the ratings have been down the last two weeks.
Was Akira Tozawa a respected wrestler in Japan?
I never heard that he wasn’t.
