TWE Chattanooga “The First Shall Be Last”
11/23/24 Red Bank, TN
Live on IWTV.live
Dylan Hales is out here to help with a “live litigation” between Big Dave and Erron Wade’s protege Colin. He might be a literal child? Wade introduces “Big Ball Saul” as his attorney. Dylan asks Dave to make a public apology to Colin for putting him in a neck brace with a lariat. The crowd doesn’t like it but it’s LEGALLY REQUIRED. Dave doesn’t love it either…but he mockingly says I’m sorry. It counts? Everyone thinks Dave was justified. Dylan says TWE had to make a concession to bring Big Dave back. But he can’t reveal it…legally. Dylan signs the NDA and concession agreement and Wade signs too. Now that the arbitration is done…they have another problem to solve. Dylan doesn’t care that Colin is 17. If he’s out here, he’s in the line of fire. Wade is his sensei. But Colin is also a TWE student. If Colin can’t be touched, Dylan might as well make him a ref. And if Colin cheats and causes trouble? He’s fired…and so is Erron Wade!
Also Dylan decides to make a match. Erron Wade & Big Ball Saul (is he a wrestler???) vs Big Dave & the returning HARDWAY HEETER!
Match 1: Erron Wade & Big Ball Saul vs Big Dave & Hardway Heeter
Dave and Heeter stomp out Wade. Saul with a chop to Heeter and that is a bad move. Heeter takes his suit jacket and shirt off before chopping the hell out of the lawyer. Wade tries to save his representative but gets pummeled too. They try to run away from the match entirely. Sean Campbell meets them at the ramp with a broom but they turn around and run out the front door of the arena into the night. It’s a count out win for Dave and Heeter!
Match 2: Sean Campbell vs Shimbashi
Can KOBK go 2-0 on the night? Shimbashi would like Campbell’s friends to leave. He refuses to wrestle if they’re out. Sean with a quick roll and damn near steals it. Campbell looking great until he gets hot shot into the top. Delay German folds Sean in half for two. Campbell still in this fight though. Shimbashi with an ushi guroshi! Good impact but Campbells kicks out. Discus chop from Campbell. Flying knee from Shimbashi!he goes for the kill….Sean with a skip and hits a spike piledriver for the win!
Match 3: The Wall Tyler Stevens vs Kody Manhorn
Manhorn has a very fun energy about him tonight. Wall is..confused. The crowd says he can’t dance. Wall doesn’t NEED to dance. He’s a f***ing wall. Manhorn quickly gets to business and reverses the big man. Stevens needs a powder? Kody tries a suicide dive and its aptly named…he lands right in the big man’s arms and he gets faceplanted into the apron. Wall is just punishing Manhorn now. Hard shot and tosses across the ring. Kody attacks the knees! Dive to the floor hits the mark this time! He comes flying…Wall hits a sitout powerbomb…he pulls the pin at two! He hits a swinging uranage to put an exclamation point on the win. Kody is limp in the ring right now. The crowd does NOT like this.
Match 4: The New Guys (Scotty Stanley & Jake Bosch) vs The Goons of the Scenic City (Lizzy & Peyton Blair)
The New Guys are students of Warhorse and already making their mark. That said, the Goons are more than happy to kill them. This is a hard fought match, both teams get ample opportunities for the kill. A magic killer is returned with a double stomp DVD but no one stays down. A miscommunication between the new guys brings Peyton in and a one arm spineBuster gives the goon the W.
Match 5: Jameson Shook vs Eden Monroe
Everyone is stoked for Eden’s entrance, even Shook. The commentary teams does t know what to do as Eden might be too hot for the family friendly show? Shook is himself shook, as Eden just has control of him through all of this. Shook does the dirty dancing lift?!? Finally Jameson starts throwing some hard hands. Eden misses a stinger splash because she yells it. Hard right hard turns Shook inside out for TWO?!? Nobody home on the hip attack. Shook just traps her in the corner and unloads. Eden with a headbutt and chokebomb for two! Shook with a forearm to the back of the head and a FYL psycho Driver gives him the three! A fallen Eden gets blindsided by Nixie Excess! The refs break it up but the point has been made.
Match 6: Damon Stryker vs Jake Murphy (Kat Von Frankenstein)
Jake WANTS this and blindsides Damon. This is a long running feud between these two in Chattanooga. Commentary is just mystified that they live in a world where they are cheering for Jake Murphy. These two just go to war. Damon gets the advantage and starts pummeling him. Kat trying to cheer her dude on. Murphy with a German dumps Jake on his head for two. Both guys trying to end this but they can’t land the kill shot. Atomic drops to Stryker! Stryker ends up taking the easy way out, stacking Murphy up with his feet on the ropes and steals the three.
We’re about to go to intermission…but they announce that, after last night’s shock title win, Warhorse WILL be defending his newly won ACTION Wrestling championship against Tim Bosby in their trilogy match!
Match 7: Hunter Drake vs Sigrid, Daughter of Tyr
It’s worth noting that Colin is back, as an official. Sigrid has a huuuuuge bone to pick with Drake and she just destroys him around the ring and against the support post. Drake dodges a lariat and Sigrid clotheslines the post. It doesn’t last long as Sigrid’s rage burns through Hunter. Huge world’s strongest slam for two. Drake nearly strarches her with a head kick…huge chokeslam! Hunter dodges a dive….he grabs a chain. Colin takes the chain away! Drake has another weapon! Sigrid with a pounce drops him….but Colin sees the weapon and disqualifies Sigrid! Noooooo!
Match 8: WARHORSE vs Tim Bosby (for the ACTION World Championship)
Warhorse shocked ACTION last night when he put down new champ Bobby Flaco. Tim Bosby and Warhorse are one win apiece against each other here at TWE. This is an OPPORTUNITY. The stakes couldn’t be higher tonight. Warhorse couldn’t be bothered though, as he just drops the ACTION belt in the center of the ring. This is going hard to start, Bosby is looking to have a great start until Warhorse pushes him off the top into the support post. Is Warhorse just gonna get his first defense like THIS? Bosby struggles but makes the count. Warhorse with a hard whip to the buckles. Butterfly suplex and Bosby is hurtin. Warhorse gets three one counts and tries to argue that this was a win. Bosby sent to the floor and Warhorse cannonballs into the first few rows of those hard Chattanooga chairs. The crowd is trying to will Tim back to life but Warhorse is reveling in cause pain. Bosby catches Jake and hits a huge toss! Backbreaker! delay vertical suplex! German right into the top buckle! The champ firing back with hard chops and screaming at Bosby to stay down. Hard lariat! Warhorse hits a powerbomb, the same move that beat Flaco last night, but Bosby still has life in him! Warhorse lands on his feet after an F5 attempt! Bosby with a series of Germans! Warhorse with a neckbreaker off the top! Top rope elbow drop….kick out! Warhorse screaming at Bosby, calling him garbage. Big Tim is furious and throws Warhorse down with an ankle lock! Warhorse reverses with a rear naked choke…Bosby almost reverses to a pin! They trade ankle locks…Bosby almost gets it but Warhorse gets the rope! Warhorse with a ripcord clothesline for two! Warhorse back to the top….Bosby with a kip up! Belly to belly off the top! Ankle lock in the center! Bosby falls into the hold…Warhorse has nowhere to go! Warhorse taps out! Tim Bosby just became the Action Wrestling World Champion! Has Bosby even debuted in Tyrone, GA??? When the ACTION home crowd comes back in December, they’re gonna have to play catchup on all these champions!
Main Event: Darien Bengston vs Kasey Owens (TWE Championship AND Gig City Championship Match, title for title)
Per the rules of the Gig City championship, it will only be on the line for the first ten minutes of the match. The main TWE belt is fair game for the entire match though. This is Owen’s 18th defense of the Gig City belt…but Bengston is at over 600 days at TWE champ. A very technical start. Owens is more than happy to strike but he KNOWS he just has to survive ten minutes and his title is in the clear. Bengston almost catches Owens several times. Owens not afraid to bite free of some of these holds. We are eight minutes in…Bengston picks up the pace…hard uppercut and enziguri! Whisper in the wind right into a pin! Kick out! Bengston takes out the knee! Owens is hobbled…but Bengston hurt himself on that shot. Trading shots as the ten minute mark passes and Owens retains his Gig City belt. But the match continues! Bengston with a clean takedown and rolls into a STF! Owens with a reversal and snaps the shoulder back! More targeted shots in the arms. Owens with a crossface chicken wing! Bengston crumbles but a foot on the rope forces the break. Bengston with a stretch against the buckles….Kasey taps out but he’s in the ropes! It doesn’t count! Headlock driver from Owens! He hits a top rope splash but his knee won’t let him crawl to the cover quick enough! Owens tries a piledriver but his knee gives out. Bengston rolls him down in a crucifix, grabs the ankle and torques back and Kasey Owens immediately taps out! Owens may have lost but both champions keep their prizes tonight. The Wall comes out to help his Good Hand teammate and it looks like Bengston might have his eyes on getting a win on every member in there.
