WWE filed a new trademark on the "Edge" ring name on 11/19.
Obviously, this is to retain it and prevent it from being acquired by Adam Copeland, as the Rated R Superstar moniker was.
The trademark was for the areas of "categories of wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports via an online community portal."
