Variety reported today that CM Punk has joined the cast of upcoming Syfy series Revival, based on the Image comic book, and will be a recurring character.
Revival is a supernatural thriller set in rural Wisconsin, where the recently deceased inexplicably return to life. The story centers on single mother and local officer Dana Cypre, who must unravel a murder mystery amid the chaos of "Revival Day." Cypre will be played by Melanie Scrofano. Others cast include Romy Weltman, David James Elliott, and Andy McQueen.
There is no word yet who Punk will be playing in the series, which we are told is already shooting in Canada.
