It was announced today that former Olympic gold medalist and WWE talent Gable Steveson would be returning to the University of Minnesota for a final year of college wrestling.
Steveson was signed by WWE to great fanfare but after lot of time training, 12 WWE NXT matches and six dark matches at Smackdown tapings, he was cut from the company this past May.
Steveson did not compete in college wrestling earlier this year due to his WWE training commitments. He will return to the mat next year.
