AEW RAMPAGE REPORT

It is Friday and AEW Rampage was recorded after Dynamite in the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Matt Menard, and Tony Schiavone.

Hikaru Shida vs Viva Van

They lock up and Van forces them into the ropes for a clean break. Shida grabs a side headlock and they quickly break. They trade shoulder tackles and neither drops, and Van gets a kick to the midsection and Shida throws body shots. They trade arm bars and waistlocks. Shida spins Van in a waistlock and slams her to the mat.

Shida pulls Van to the apron and hits the running knee from the floor. Van snaps Shida’s head on the top rope, and then takes Shida down for two. She lays in blows and then grabs Shida’s hair from behind and the ref forces a break. Shida fights to her feet and tries for a German suplex, but Van fights her way free. Van and Shida throw elbow strikes. Shida runs to the middle turnbuckle and hits a drop-kick. She whips Van into the corner, lays in blows, hits a running bulldog and a knee strike for two.

Shida misses a Katana kick and Van gets a springboard crossbody for two. Van keeps up the attack and puts Shida on her shoulders. Shida rolls through for two and hits a falcon arrow for the pin and the win.

Winner: Hikaru Shida

In the back, Renee Paquette is with Harley Cameron and Harley goes through her year as quickly as possible. Harley is about to say what the future holds and Renee says they are out of time

The Undisputed Era (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) without anyone vs The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) w/Evil Uno vs The Infantry (Shawn Dean and Carlie Bravo) w/Shane Taylor and Trish Adora

The Infantry attack the Undisputed Era before the bell and they fight with Dark Order until Dark Order dumps Dean over the top. Taven gets a bling tag and hits a big drop-kick on Bravo. Bennett is tagged in and then ping pong him with strikes until Bennett gets a clothesline for one. Bennett is driven into the Infantry’s corner and they double-team in the corner and then on the apron. Bennett is rolled back into the ring and Bravo drops the knee and gets a two count. He then gets a snap suplex as we go to picture in picture. 

When we return to full screen, Bennett has been in peril as The Infantry work him over with quick tags. Bennett fights out of a side headlock from Bravo, but Bravo takes out Taven. Bennett hits a spinebuster and both men are down. Bennett sees his partner is gone and tags in Silver, who runs wild. Silver gets a cover after a leaping shoulder breaker for two, broken up by Dean. 

Taven is tagged in and he goes after the Infantry, and Reynolds gets into the ring and Taven takes him out with a leaping kick from the second rope.  Taven gets a moonsault from the top to everyone on the floor and then rolls in Bravo. Taven goes to the top and Dean knocks him down and everyone is fighting in the ring with people getting big moves on the last person to hit a big move.

Bennett hits the Boston Bayonet on Reynolds and then an assisted power slam for the pin and the win. 

Winners: The Undisputed Era

Brian Cage comes to the stage as Lance Archer attacks the Undisputed Era from behind. Taven takes a Black-Out from Archer and Cage hits the two-man power bomb with Archer on Bennett.

In the back, Lexy Nair asks Roderick Strong about the attack. He says Lance Archer and Brian Cage are terrible. Jake Roberts says that Mortos is NOT Roddy’s boy, he is part of LFI and he needs to back himself up or he will have Mortos back him up. Roddy challenges the Beast for tomorrow night.

We get a video of Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie explaining why they are called The Vendetta. 

Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) w/Leila Grey and Action Andretti vs Beef and JD Drake

Beef and Darius start the match by locking up and Beef forces them into the corner. Darius gets a side headlock and is shot off into the ropes. Darius hits a shoulder tackle and when Beef hits one, Darius is knocked to the mat. Darius grabs an arm bar and tags in Dante. They work over Beef’s arm. Beef and Dante run the ropes and Beef hits a drop-kick.

Drake is tagged in and misses a senton. Dante backflips on Drake’s back, hits a tejaris followed by a drop-kick. Darius tags in and gets an assisted suplex as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen. Darius drop-kicks Beef into his corner and both Drake and Dante tag in. Dante gets a flurry of elbow strikes and then a leaping somersault senton for two. Drake takes out Dante with a clothesline for two. Beef is tagged in and hits the cross body splashon the ropes and then a slam on Dante. Beef goes to the top and Darius is able to hit a DDT on Drake from the apron to the floor. Beef misses a leap from the top and Dante hits a jumping knee strike. Dante tags in darius and they hit a DDT after a leg trip for the pin and the win. 

Winners: Top Flight

After the match, the Private Party shakes their hands. As they do, Lio Rush has his entrance.

Lio Rush vs Komander w/Alex Abrahantes

Bullet point time

They have the handshake we should have gotten last week according to the commentary team

After a series of misses, Lio gets a rollup for two and Komander gets a cover and Rush bridges out of it

Komander gets an arm drag and Rush is shot to the floor where he takes time to regroup. 

Rush gets back in the ring and he and Komander have words

Rush gets elbow strikes and when they run the ropes, Rush gets a NASTY clothesline but does not go for a pin

Komander gets a shoulder in the corner and they trade blows. 

Rush gets a back suplex for two. Komander goes to the floor to regroup.

Rush gets a kick from the apron and then a springboard from the bottom rope to the floor onto Komander as we go to picture in picture.

When we return to full screen, Komander and Rush are whipping each other into the corner, popping out and throwing hands.

Komander gets a springboard arm drag from the apron and covers for two

Komander hits a standing moonsault and tries to run across the ring and Rush grabs his ankle and Komander hits an insigiri. 

Komander goes to the top and Rush rolls out of the ring. 

Komander and Rush fight on the apron and Rush blocks a backstabber. He follows by slamming into Komander on the apron and then diving onto him. 

Rush puts Komander into the ring with a power slam for two.

Rush goes to the top and Komander rolls out of range. 

Rush hoists Komander and slams him for two, screaming that Komander kicked out.

Rush goes to the top and misses a leap and when he charges at Komander, Komnder quickly suplexes him into the turnbuckle. 

Komander gets a moonsault from the top after running across the ring for two

Komander goes to the top and misses a running rope shooting star press. 

Komander gets a two count roll up and Rush gets an insigiri, a stunner and goes to the top for a shooting star press for the pin and the win.

Winner: Lio Rush
