I am watching Starrcade '85 and WWE has obviously edited over what Dusty Rhodes' theme song was that night - do you recall what it was?
Yes. it was Prince's Purple Rain.
What do you think about the change from the Traditional Survivor Series Tag to WarGames? I don't mind WarGames but I find myself preferring the traditional tag after watching the change for a couple years because it has more of the 'anything can happen' feeling with eliminations. While with WarGames you most definitely know that no result is coming out for 80% for the match.
I have written and said this before, but the first WWF PPV I ordered as a kid was Survivor Series as we got gotten cable literally two days before in NYC where I lived and I loved the concept of the Elimination tag. If it was up to me, I'd love to see WWE rehab the concept and go all elimination matches, but I think I would be in a very, very small minority. Wargames has always been an awesome attraction and while I'd prefer WWE have the roof like the old days, even without it, it's something that means a lot today and this year has been no exception with the great build to the show this year. So, I don't think we'll ever see a change, but I miss the old days as well - but the reality they haven't done an "all elimination match" Survivor Series since the early 1990s. It's gone and not coming back.
Did I really watch an MLW show where they said the referee was dressed in a Hazmat suit because of dangerous chemicals but ....the fans are just sitting there? Don't these people care about the fans' safety "in story"?
You did hear that line during MLW Slaughterhouse and well, come on, it's pro wrestling, you have to give them some sort of leeway when it comes to suspending your disbelief or else all the logic falls apart.
I remember during the last Trump Presidential run, it was much harder and took longer for international pro wrestlers to get work visas. Do you think this could happen again?
There's no way to predict what could happen, but I'd lean towards it being harder than easier to get that paperwork processed based on the past. Hopefully WWE doesn't have to file another lawsuit against The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
Any update on 2 Cold Scorpio? I miss seeing him in GCW.
His court case is still making its way through the process. GCW stopped using him so I don't see him back there anytime soon.
Did it bother you as much as it bothered me to see Stephanie McMahon congratulate her mom on the Trump cabinet appointment?
No. No matter what I think about Linda McMahon being appointed into that role, how can anyone be surprised her daughter publicly congratulated her? It's her mom. No one should be shocked by that.
