Deadline reported that Red One is projecting to do $25 to $30 million dollars overseas during its opening weekend launch, and is expected to do $36 million when it premieres in US and Canada next week.
They also reported that Moana 2 is expected to do $135 million over the Wednesday-Sunday Thanksgiving box-office period. That would be beat the previous record of $125 million done by Frozen 2.
AMC CEO Adam Aron noted during his Q3 earnings call yesterday that he heard that Moana 2 could end up making more than Inside Out 2, which was the highest grossing movie this year with $652.9 million.
