It is Wednesday and AEW Dynamite is in the SNHU Arena in Manchester, NH. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Nigel McGuinness, and Tony Schiavone.
Tony Schiavone is in the ring and he calls for the Hurt Syndicate to come to the ring, MVP, Bobby Lashlay and Shelton Benjamin come to the ring, and the crowd chants for MVP and MVP dismisses Tony. He introduces and puts over Benjamin and Lashley. He says their job is to help younger talent. He shows their beat down of Swerve Strickland last week and says it is because he wanted to make an enemy of them.
Swerve’s music starts and the referee corp shows to block him from coming to the ring, while MVP motions for him to come to the ring. Swerve grabs a mic and calls out Bobby Lashley for a match at Full Gear. MVP says they will see him there.
We get a video recap of the build to the match between Jon Moxley and Orange Cassidy at Full Gear for the AEW Championship.
Claudio Castagnoli and Pac vs Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin
Cassidy says on the stage calling for Claudio and Pac to come and attack, and when they get to the stage, Allin leaps off the entrance tunnel, trench coat almost like a cape. All four men brawl on the stage and then down to the ring. Cassidy and Pac get to the ring and the bell rings. Cassidy is tossed into corners by Pac as Allin and Claudio brawl around the ring. Pac gets a series of kicks in the middle of the ring, but Cassidy dodges a running kick. Cassidy hits a running kick and poses for the crowd.
Pac gets a running kick in the corner. Pac puts Cassidy on the top and joins him there. They fight for control and Cassidy knocks Pac to the mat. Cassidy gets a diving DDT for two. Claudio hits the ring and gets a gut buster, a backbreaker and then another gut buster as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Claudio gets a backbreaker with Cassidy on his shoulder for two. The commentary team is calling Mox’s team the Death Riders, so I guess that is their faction name now. Cassidy escapes out the back of a pickup and Claudio goes into the ringpost from the inside of the ring. Cassidy gets the tag to Allin, who runs wild. Allin cuts him off with a back body drop for two. Claudio catches Allin off the top for a spinning backbreaker for two.
Pac tags in and gets a German Suplex, holding on for two. Pac gets a brain buster on Allin and Claudio holds back Cassidy as Pac covers for two. Pac puts Allin on top and gets a sheer drop brainbuster from the top for two, with Claudio trying to stop Cassidy again, but Cassidy is able to break up the pin. Darby is able to get an escape after a sunset flip and Cassidy cleans house. Cassidy and Allin both dive into Pac and Claudio. Cassidy hits an orange Punch on an interfering Yuta, then Claudio.
Marina Shafir takes out the ref and Jon Moxley shows up and everyone is brawling as the bell is ringing.
Winners: Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin via DQ
After a few attacks by Allin, Claudio is able to toss Allin into the ringpost. Mox beats down Cassidy in the ring until the rest of Mox’s team joins him there. We then hear the music for Mark Briscoe, and he runs to the ring with Tomohiro Ishii, and Kyle O’Reilly, and the Death Riders take off through the crowd.
Renee is with Ricochet and he says he can’t tell us who his mystery partner is until later tonight. The Hurt Syndicate shows up and he says they talked already. MVP says they are just checking up on him and wishing him well.
Mark Briscoe, Tomohiri Ishii, and Kyle O’Reilly vs Chris Jericho, Big Bill and Bryan Keith — A Fight Without Honor
The match is instantly a brawl, and after Mark gets a dive onto Jericho on the floor, Ishii puts Jericho through a table at ringside. Kyle and Keith are fighting on the apron and then put each other through a table at ringside. Bill then choke slams Briscoe into a ladder at ringside as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Jericho and Ishii are fighting in the ring and Ishii is knocked to the floor. Briscoe rolls into the ring with a chair. Jericho grabs one as well and they slam the chairs into each other. Briscoe gets a chair into Jericho’s midsection and then beats down Jericho with it. Bill gets in the ring and just beats down Briscoe, and then both Kyle and Ishii. All three of Briscoe’s team take out Bill and Kyle gets a running knee into Bill on the floor.
Ishii and Jericho go work on Jericho and Keith takes them out with a Kendo stick. They all fight in the corner, and Briscoe and Ishii suplex Jericho and Keith from the top. Bill and Kyle fight into the back and around the equipment cases. Bill sets up a table and then a second next to it. Bill picks up Kyle and Kyle gets a guillotine choke until they both go through the tables from on top of an equipment case.
In the ring, Briscoe charges at Jericho with a ladder and Jericho drop-kicks the ladder. Briscoe dodges a chair swing from Jericho and gets a Jay Driller. Briscoe sets up the ladder and then sets up a table. Jericho is laid out on the table and goes to the top of the ladder. Briscoe gets a flying elbow onto Jericho through the table for two and Keith breaks it up. Briscoe dives on Keith on the floor and Ishii gets a sliding lariat into Jericho, followed by a sheer drop brainbuster for the pin and the win.
Winners: Mark Briscoe, Tomohio Ishii, and Kyle O’Reilly
In the back, the Death Riders are leaving, and Mox says that Yuta doesn’t owe Cassidy anything. They aren’t friends and Yuta is a soldier under his command. He says that Darby disappointed him. He says it's time for people to stop playing at something they should take seriously.
Adam Cole vs Malakai Black
They lock up and quickly move to running the ropes. Black picks the leg and they trade one count covers. Black picks the ankle of Cole and then slowly puts it down saying he doesn’t want that. Black grabs an arm bar and Cole tries a series of ways to escape, but even when he does, Black is able to grab it again.
Cole is able to escape and Black kicks the inside of Cole’s leg. Cole rolls to the floor to regroup. Black goes to the floor and Cole is able to run Black into the barricade. They return to the ring and Black grabs a kick. They fight in the corner and Black gets a leaping knee. Cole gets a kick on Black and they fight through the ropes on the apron. Cole is pulled to the floor and when Black follows him, Cole gets a superkick as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Cole hits a shoulder breaker for two. Cole tries for a Panama Sunrise and Black blocks it. Cole gets a destroyer, but Black pops up for a knee strike for two. Both men are down, and Black is holding his neck. When they get to their feet, they throw hands and Black catches a super kick and sweeps the other leg. They fight to the corner and both men go to the top. Black tries for a power bomb, but Cole holds on and then hits a knee into Black.
Cole hits a shoulder breaker and goes for the Boom Knee, but runs into the spin kick from Black, who covers for two. Cole gets a Panama Sunrise and then Cole gets a series of superkicks. Black sits cross-legged on the floor and calls for the end. Cole hits the Boom Knee for the pin and the win.
Winner: Adam Cole
Black and Cole are talking as Black slowly recovers and Cole holds out a hand and Black instead hugs him.
Cole grabs a mic and says Black is one of the very best he has ever fought in his career. He then says he wants to talk to MJF and he’s beat two and has one to go. He says Roderick Strong has two to go, and they will BOTH win all three matches. Cole says he talked to Tony Khan, and when Cole and Roddy get three wins, at Full Gear, it’s the Triple Threat match.
In his undiclosed Location, MJF is not happy about this and picks up his phone. He tells whoever is on the other end they need to pay someone a visit.
In the back, Renee is with Jay White and he is interrupted by Adam Page who attacks White. They fight out into the stage area and Page shoves White’s ankle between sections of the barricade and grabs a chair. Juice Robinson stops him and they brawl to the ring and Page basil through the crowd. White grabs a mic and says he would LOVE to know what Page will do at Full Gear. White says he will beat, batter and dismantle Page and he will have fun doing it.
Renee is now with Kris Statlander, who says Mercedes Mone can’t change the fact that she will beat Mone at Full Gear. Kris walks away and is hit by Mone’s car being driven by Kamille. Mone screams at Kamille for not hitting her directly. Kris attacks both of them and they are pulled apart by security with both Mone and Kamille left lying.
Christian Cage w/Nick Wayne, Mother Wayne and Kip Sabian come to the ring. He has extra security, masked, and we are told they are there to keep Hook away from the ring. Cage says that Sabian is a fatherless loser who is now part of his group. He explains that Kip saved the contract Cage carries which means he has done more than anyone in the crowd did.
Hook shows and tells Cage to say what he has to say quickly because he doesn’t have much patience. Cage says that Hook is a wild man and needs to be disciplined to fall in line, so when he brings in Hook, he needs to show him what a real father is. He had to take out Taz. He asks why Taz told him to get security footage instead of telling him. Because Taz buckled under the pressure and became an announcer. He asks Hook if he wants to be an announcer like Taz, or a multi=time champion like him.
Cage says he needs him and he wishes Hook’s father was dead. Hook charges through security. Hook goes after Cage, and security tries to stop him. Hook tosses security and puts on in the Redrum while staring at Cage.
In the back, Alex Marvez is with Don Callis. A HUGE black man in a suit shows and hands Callis an envelope of cash and a box In the box is the Dynamite Diamond ring, and The Big Guy plays a message from MJF saying he wants someone taken out, and if he does it, there will be another envelope. And if Callis scratches the ring, it will go badly for him.
Penelope Ford vs Jamie Hayter
Ford attacks before the bell and then does a ground and pound. Hayter is able to get a backdrop and does some pounding of her own. Hayter lays in chops in the corner. Hayter runs into a pump kick and then Ford runs her into the turnbuckle. Ford gets a back handspring into the elbow and a big kick in the corner. Ford hits a German suplex for two. Ford lays in kicks and strikes to keep Hayter down on the mat.
Ford chokes Hayter into the ropes. Hayter gets a jawbreaker, but Ford sweeps the leg and then gets a drop-kick into Hayter’s back for two. Ford goes to the top and misses a moonsault. Hayter gets a sheer drop brainbuster and misses a lariat and Ford dodges it. Ford hits a cutter for two. Hayter gets the Hayterade for the pin and the win out of nowhere.
Winner: Jamie Hayter

Ricochet says as of October 4th, someone’s contract with the Don Callis Family expired and he’s mad that he was forgotten about by Callis.
Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita vs Ricochet and Powerhouse Hobbs.
Hobbs and Ricochet run to the ring and Hobbs runs wild. Hobbs and Ricochet work over Kyle and Takeshita at ringside. Hobbs and Ricochet return to the ring. Ricochet gets Hobbs’s shoulders and moonsaults onto Takeshita and Kyle on the floor. Hobbs hits Kyle with a delayed vertical suplex and tags in Ricochet.
Ricochet gets a cover and a one count. Kyle gets a DDT through the ropes. Takeshita and Kyle hit a front drop and stereo kicks as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Ricochet has been the babyface in peril. Ricochet is able to get a back spring elbow to tag in Hobbs, who cleans house. Hobbs shows a lot of big power moves. Takeshita and Takeshita throw hands in the middle of the ring as the crowd chants “meat”. Takeshita is able to get a German suplex, but Hobbs recovers with a leaping lariat.
Ricochet and Kyle are tagged in and Kyle gets a big boot to Ricochet. Ricochet comes off the second rope with a cross body, and Kyle catches him and hits a power bomb. Takeshitas gets into the ring and he and Kyle get a running big boot. Ricochet is hoisted onto Takeshita on the top and Ricochet is able to turn it into a hurricanrana. Ricochet misses a 450 and Takeshita hits a leaping knee strike. Ricochet escapes out the back. Takeshita goes for a German suplex, but Ricochet lands on his feet.
Ricochet goes for a poisonrana, but Takeshita blocks it and Kyle hits a doomsday device on Ricochet for two. Ricochet gets a series of kicks on Takeshita and when Kyle tries to grab the boot from the floor, Hobbs takes him out. Takeshita goes for Ricochet, but Hobbs shoves him out of the way. Takeshita gets a German suplex on Hobbs. Takeshita goes for a Power Bomb, but Ricochet turns it into a rollup for two. Ricochet goes to the top for a shooting star press for two.
Ricochet gets a running lariat for the pin and the win on Takeshita

Kyle attacks Ricochet and the Ricochet with a chair, but we get the Aussie Open music and Mark Davis runs to the ring. Kyle and Mark shout at each other and shove each other. Lance Archer attacks Mark from behind and then Brian Cage joins in. Adam Cole shows up and Takeshita and he fight to the back. Cage and Archer hold Mark as Kyle gets into the ring.
Will Ospreay’s music hits and he frees Mark Davis. Hobbs hits a spinebuster on Archer. The Don Callis Family are driven off and we are desperately out of time.
