– Best Two Out Of Three Falls: El Hijo del Santo and Santo Jr. defeated Ciclón Ramirez and El Hijo de Fishman.
It was a great crowd and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. Despite most of the wrestlers having little-to-no exposure to a U.K. audience, the crowd still lapped everything up and it made for a highly enjoyable night.
In particular (and to no surprise), Santo was the star of the show. After winning the main event, Santo Jr. hoisted his father on his shoulders and carried him around the ring so everyone could high-five him and, for those not attending the second show tomorrow, say goodbye to a legend for the last time.
The show paid homage to Mexico’s Day of the Dead, with staff dressed in traditional clothing and makeup. There was an intermission with a live band playing Mexican music, with plenty choosing to get out of their seats to dance.
NOSAWA Rongai was in attendance and took photos with fans. Santo came over to him during the main event and shook his hand.
