MATT TREMONT VS. ZAYDA STEEL & MORE: 11/4 H2O WRESTLING 'LAST MONDAY NIGHT' REPORT

H20 Wrestling “Last Monday Night” Recap (11/4/24)

- H20 Wrestling Champion Deklan Grant makes his way to the ring to start the show, Grant talks about winning his championship back. Grant says he is feeling confident tonight and he is issuing an open challenge for his title tonight, which is answered by Shaun Smith. Smith and Grant shake hands before being interrupted by Leroy Robinson, who also wants a title shot and Grant accepts it. 2G’s interrupts and he also makes his way to the ring, 2G’s wants a shot as well and Grant gives him a shot as well.

Handicap Match: Braxx vs President Hawkins & Johnny Radex

The match begins with Braxx attacking his opponents during their entrance, Hawkins and Braxx battle on the arena floor before everybody makes their way to the ring. Braxx nails Radex with an avalanche before landing strikes on both opponents, Braxx then tosses both opponents across the ring. Radex fights back and Hawkins joins in so they can double team Braxx, Hawkins and Radex corner Braxx before landing more strikes. Radex goes to the middle rope and he nails Braxx with a knee strike, Braxx fights back and he drops both opponents with a double clothesline. Braxx then hits Radex with a choke slam, Braxx follows up by dropping Hawkins onto Radex for a three count.

Winner: Braxx

H2O Tag Team Championship: The Dropoutz (Franky Hendrix & Tony Bragz) (c) vs South St. Survivors (Brian Neil & Duncan Aleem)

The match begins with Hendrix getting Neil in a side headlock, Neil gets free and he goes after the arm of Hendrix. Neil takes Hendrix down with a headlock and Hendrix gets free, Hendrix misses an elbow drop and Neil rolls him up for a two count. Neil then cracks Hendrix with a flying forearm strike, Bragz and Aleem are tagged into the match. Bragz and Aleem exchange strikes after a few roll up attempts from both, Bragz fights back and he kicks Aleem before tagging Hendrix back in. Bragz and Hendrix hit Aleem with a double suplex for a near fall, Hendrix then chokes Aleem along the middle rope. Aleem fights back and he drops Hendrix with a clothesline before tagging Neil in, Neil quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Neil nails Bragz with a senton for a near fall, Hendrix attacks Aleem on the arena floor and Bragz nails Neil with a back stabber for a near fall. Hendrix tags in and he nails a cornered Neil with some strikes before getting him in a chin lock, Hendrix releases the hold before getting a near fall on Neil.

Bragz tags back in and he double teams Neil alongside Hendrix, Bragz then hits Neil with a DDT for a near fall. Neil starts fighting back and Bragz hits him with a power bomb for a near fall, Hendrix tags back in and he nails Neil with a senton for a near fall. Hendrix sets up for the Gory Special and Neil escapes before landing an arm drag, Neil then takes out both opponents before tagging Aleem into the match. Bragz tags in just as Aleem starts cleaning house against the opposing team, Aleem then hits Bragz with a spine buster for a near fall. Aleem corners Bragz before kicking him right in the face, Neil tags in and he hits Bragz with a knee strike for a near fall as Hendrix kicks the referee during the count to cause a DQ.

Winners: South St. Survivors (Brian Neil & Duncan Aleem) by DQ, The Dropoutz retain the titles

Pedro Pablo vs Marcus Mathers

The match begins with Mathers getting Pablo in a headlock before dropping him with a shoulder tackle, Pablo uses a hair pull to briefly get Mathers against the ropes. Pablo gets Mathers in a headlock before nailing him with a shoulder tackle. Mathers gets up and he nails Pablo with some chops and a drop kick, Mathers follows up with a flying forearm strike and a missile drop kick. Pablo recovers and he eventually drops Mathers with a side Russian leg sweep, Pablo stomps away on Mathers before trapping him in the corner to land more strikes. Mathers fights back and Pablo drops him with a striking combination, Pablo then nails Mathers with an STO for a near fall. Pablo holds Mathers down afterwards while ripping away at his face, Pablo then hits Mathers with a suplex for a near fall. Pablo keeps Mathers down while biting his fingers before landing another suplex, Mathers fights back and he drops Pablo with a back suplex.

Mathers then hits Pablo with a springboard stunner followed up with a blue thunder driver for a near fall, Pablo recovers and he nails Mathers with a dragon screw leg whip. Pablo goes for a rear naked choke and Mathers escapes for a near fall, Pablo then connects with an exploder suplex on Mathers. Mathers recovers and he catches Pablo in a backslide before getting into a striking exchange with him, Mathers ends the exchange by hitting Pablo with a release German suplex followed by a clothesline. Pablo recovers and he hits Mathers with a running European uppercut for a near fall, Mathers tries fighting back and Pablo hits him with a discus clothesline. Mathers catches a charging Pablo with a cutter followed by a fisherman buster suplex for a three count.

Winner: Marcus Mathers

Handicap Match: CWO (Marc Angel, Stan Stylez & Everest) vs. Anthraxx & Lowlife Louie Jr.

The match begins with Stylez starting off the match before tagging Everest in, Everest drops both opponents with a double shoulder tackle. Everest then chokes Anthraxx along the middle rope, Everest traps Anthraxx in the corner before landing strikes. Everest keeps Anthraxx cornered before biting his forehead, Anthraxx fights back and he sends a charging Everest into a barbed wire skeleton. Anthraxx then hits Everest with a release German suplex, Louie Jr. tags in and he gets jumped from behind by Angel. Angel stomps away on Louie Jr. before tagging Stylez into the match for some double teaming, Stylez takes off his pants and he whips Louie Jr. with them. Angel tags in and he wishbones Louie Jr. alongside Stylez for a near fall, Louie Jr. fights back and he gets choked in the corner for his efforts. Louie Jr. fights back again and he nails Angel with an avalanche, Angel recovers and he nails Louie Jr. with a cutter. Stylez and Anthraxx are tagged in by their respective partners, Anthraxx quickly starts cleaning house against the opposing team. Anthraxx and Stylez trade titty twister attempts before a striking exchange breaks out, Anthraxx hits Stylez with a belly to belly suplex before Louie Jr. tags himself in.

Louie Jr. argues with Anthraxx before they both get attacked by the CWO, Everest hits Louie Jr. with a chokeslam before Stylez gets the three count on him.

Winners: CWO (Marc Angel, Stan Stylez & Everest)

After the match, Anthraxx challenges Lowlife Louie Jr. to a match in November.

Anything Goes Match: JB Anderson vs Jess Moss

The match begins with Anderson getting Moss in a headlock before Moss drops him with a hair pull, Anderson recovers and he drops Moss before landing a headbutt. Moss grabs a pizza sheet and she hits Anderson with it to knock him out of the ring, Moss grabs a trashcan lid and she hits Anderson with it. Anderson fights back and he nails Moss in the back with a baking pan, Anderson grabs a kendo stick and he nails Moss with it. Mossd fights back and she attacks Anderson with the kendo stick, Anderson gets free and he again attacks Moss with a kendo stick. Moss recovers and she trips up Anderson on the ring apron, Moss gets back in the ring and she attacks Anderson with a bag full of dice. Moss then grabs the trashcan lid and she attacks Anderson with it, Anderson fights back and he drops Moss with a roaring elbow strike. Moss recovers and she side suplexes Anderson onto the dice for a near fall, Moss keeps Anderson down while applying a chin lock to him.

Moss grabs a fork and she stabs Anderson in the mouth with it, Anderson fights back and he nails Moss with a back suplex. Anderson then cracks Moss with a leaping headbutt for a near fall, Anderson goes for a low blow and that doesn’t work on Moss. Anderson grabs an NES system and Moss attacks him with headbutts before he can use it, Anderson and Moss exchange headbutts until Anderson hits Moss with a DDT onto the NES system for a three count.

Winner: JB Anderson

Austin Luke vs Kennedi Hardcastle

The match begins with some chain wrestling between Luke and Hardcastle, Luke goes for an ankle lock and Hardcastle sends him into the ropes to get free. Hardcastle goes after Luke’s arm and she drags him to the mat before tying up his arms, Luke gets free and he nails Hardcastle with a few kicks before nailing her leg with a DDT. Luke holds Hardcastle down while wrenching on her injured leg, Hardcastle gets free and she trades strikes with Luke before catching him in a kimura, Luke gets free and he catches Hardcastle in a leg lock. Hardcastle gets free and she nails a charging Luke with a few strikes, Hardcastle follows up by nailing Luke with a middle rope rana. Hardcastle then drops Luke with multiple clotheslines for a near fall, Luke fights back and Hardcastle cracks him with more strikes before knocking him to the arena floor. Hardcastle gets Luke back in the ring before going to the top rope, Hardcastle hits Luke with a top rope high cross body for a near fall.

Hardcastle keeps Luke grounded while applying a cross face to him, Luke gets free and he catches Hardcastle in a half crab. Hardcastle gets free and she catches Luke in a roll up for a near fall, Luke eats a knee strike before hitting Hardcastle with a rebound lariat for a near fall. Luke follows Hardcastle around the ring while nailing her with kicks, Hardcastle fights back and she hits Luke with an enziguri. Hardcastle looks for the cross face again and Luke gets free, Hardcastle catches Luke in multiple roll ups before finally catching him in one long enough for a three count.

Winner: Kennedi Hardcastle

After the match, Austin Luke attacks Kennedi Hardcastle and the referee.

Zayda Steel vs Matt Tremont

The match begins with Steel slapping Tremont before running out of the ring, Tremont chases Steel around the ring before getting kicked from the ring apron. Steel then hits Tremont with a suicide dive followed by some strikes, Steel grabs a trashcan lid and she hits Tremont with it. Steel grabs a steel chair and she hits Tremont with it, Tremont gets angry and he drops Steel with a right. Tremont grabs a baking sheet and he nails Steel in the head with it, Tremont then grabs a steel chair and he hits Steel in the back with it. Tremont and Steel sit on some chairs before exchanging strikes, Tremont ends the exchange and he gets Steel into the ring before hitting her with more chair shots. Steel fights back and she sends Tremont face first into a chair that was in the corner, Steel traps Tremont in the corner while kicking away at him. Steel grabs the chair and hits Tremont with it a few times, Steel traps Tremont in the ropes before landing a few strikes.

Steel gets Tremont out of the ropes before choking him on the bottom rope, Steel traps Tremont in the corner before landing multiple strikes. Steel then drop kicks a chair onto Tremont for a near fall, Steel looks for a rear naked choke and Tremont escapes before landing a right. Steel recovers and she hits Tremont with a tornado DDT for a near fall, Tremont recovers and he nails Steel with a lariat. Tremont climbs the ropes and Steel knocks him off before landing a top rope double stomp for a near fall, Steel then attacks Tremont with a ton of strikes. Steel then nails Tremont with a bulldog onto a chair for a near fall, Steel sits Tremont on a chair before climbing to the middle rope, Tremont catches her as she leaps off before landing a fallaway slam. Tremont and Steel have a striking exchange until Tremont lands a Samoan drop for a near fall, Steel accidentally hits herself with a chair and Tremont hits her with a death valley driver for a three count.

Winner: Matt Tremont

H2O Championship Open Challenge: Deklan Grant (c) vs Shaun Smith vs. Leroy Robinson vs. 2G’s

The match begins with Grant leaving the ring as his opponents start battling each other, Grant looks to get in the ring and Smith kicks him in the head. 2G’s catches a leaping Smith before landing a uranage for a near fall, Robinson attacks 2G’s and they trade strikes. 2G’s then hits Robinson and Smith with multiple avalanches, 2G’s hits Robinson with a cannonball for a near fall. Grant returns and he gets 2G’s in a headlock before eating a sit out power bomb for a near fall, Grant fights back before he and 2G’s are hit with a double missile drop kick from Robinson. Smith goes after Robinson and he drops him with a head kick followed by a poison rana, Smith traps Robinson in the ropes before landing a top rope double stomp. Robinson fights back and he nails Smith with an inverted release suplex for a near fall, Grant returns and he nails Robinson with some strikes. 2G’s returns and Grant drops him with a DDT, Smith drops Grant before landing a double stomp to his midsection.

Smith goes for a top rope moonsault and Grant gets out of the way, Robinson then hits Grant with a super kick before missing a top rope splash. 2G’s returns to attack everybody before missing a senton on Robinson, Robinson gets up and 2G’s nails him with an STO for a near fall. Grant drags Smith out of the ring and Smith sends him into the ring post, 2G’s attacks Robinson with some strikes. Robinson recovers and he nails 2G’s with a back stabber, Smith then hits Robinson with a top rope splash. Grant knocks Smith out of the ring before pinning 2G’s for a three count.

Winner: Deklan Grant, still your H20 Champion
