'QUEEN OF THE RING' ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL FILM FESTIVAL SCREENINGS, TONI STORM, KAMILLE AND MORE SET FOR FT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL THIS FRIDAY

NASHVILLE, TN - After a world premiere at the world renowned Newport Beach Film Festival and a successful first leg of festival screenings, “Queen Of The Ring” has been met with an incredible response from fans and critics alike. The film earned Ash Avildsen “Best Director 2024” honors at the Portland Film Festival and has earned rave reviews from media outlets.

Now, “Queen Of The Ring” takes center stage at the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival on Friday, November 8th. It will be a star-studded lineup as stars Emily Bett Rickards (Mildred Burke), Gavin Casalegno (Joe Jr.),  Francesca Eastwood (Mae Young), AEW stars Toni Storm (Clara Mortensen) and Kamille (June Byers), Executive Producer and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross and more join Avildsen for a screening that is sure to send the fans home happy. Immediately following the film, the cast and crew will host a Q&A for those in attendance. 

Starring Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow, The Flash) as Burke, “Queen Of The Ring” brings the audience back to a time when women’s wrestling was completely illegal and the fight that changed an industry forever. Writer and Director Ash Avildsen was given a copy of Burke’s biography by none other than the legendary voice of professional wrestling Jim Ross, who is also an Executive Producer of the film, who was instantly inspired to bring her story to the big screen.
