It is Friday and AEW Rampage was recorded after Dynamite in the Wolstein Center in Cleveland OH. Our commentary team is Excalibur, Matt Menard, and Tony Schiavone.
La Facción Ingobernables (Rush, Dralistico, and Mortos) vs Beef, JD Drake and Butcher
Beef and Dralistico start off with throwing hands, but Dralistico comes off the ropes with a flying shoulder tackle. Beef cartwheels past Dralistico and drop-kicks Dralistico. He follows up with a splash in the corner and tags in Drake, who hits a senton over the top rope. Butcher tags in and punches Drake back to his corner so that Rush tags in. Rush and Butcher throw hands until Rush knocks the Butcher to a knee is LFI’s corner.
Mortos tags in and hits a quick series of attacks on Butcher. Drake gets a big chop and tags in Drake. Drake hits a leg drop off the middle rope and Drake follows up with chops in the corner. Mortos is able to get a Samoan drop on Drake for two. LFI knocks Drake’s partners off the apron, and Rush tags in. Drake is tossed to the floor where Rush works him over.
Rush rolls Drake into the ring and they trade chops on each other in the corner. Rush drags Drake into LFI’s corner where they work him over with quick tags as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Drake is able to get a spinebuster on Rush and Beef tags in. Beef cleans house on LFI until Rush tries to cut him off. Beef throws a big series of strikes and hits a big bulldog out of the corner. Butcher tags in and gets a slam on Rush. Beef goes to the top and Dralistico sweeps his legs. Butcher tags a chop block from Mortos. Dralistico hits him with a lung blower and Mortsdo follows with a cannonball in the corner.
Rush hits the Bull’s Horns in the corner on Butcher for the pin and the win.
Winners: La Facción Ingobernables
Renee is with Stokely Hathaway and he takes credit for Private Party winning the Tag Team titles.
Taya Valkyrie w/Deonna Purrazzo vs The Already In The Ring Zoey Lynn
Deonna and Taya have a new graphic and their team is called “The Vendetta” with a Godfather movie-like font.
Taya wins quickly with a curb stomp and a pin.
Winner: Taya Valkyrie
Renee meets them as they get backside. Stokely Hathaway shows and says Zoey was making fun of them before the match. Taya goes back out and beats down Zoey on her way to the back and hits a second curb stomp. As she is about to hit a third, Purrazzo stops her.
We get a video from Thunder Rosa about her upcoming match with Harley Cameron.
Queen Aminata vs Leila Grey
They start with arm bars and Aminata gets a side headlock takeover. When they get to their feet, Grey gets an inside cradle for two. Grey gets a side headlock takeover and they work to their feet again. Aminata gets a side headlock takeover and Grey rolls Aminata to her back for two.
Aminata gets a snap suplex and Grey follows with a backslide for two. Aminata gets a short arm suplex for two. Grey gets a sunset flip off the ropes for two, and then a crucifix pinfall for two. Grey gets a dropkick for one. Aminata reverses a double underhook for a running air raid crash for two.
Aminata gets a leg-based full nelson and then pulls Grey back into a dragon sleeper. Grey is able to roll through and Aminata makes it a snap suplex. Aminata misses a charge into the corner and Grey gets a bulldog for two. Grey gets a kick out of the corner into a neckbreaker for two. Grey lays in elbow strikes and Aminata gets a double chop and ties up Grey with a submission hold and Grey has to tap out.
Winner: Queen Aminata
Top Flight (Darius and Dante Martin) and Action Andretti vs The Dark Order (Evil Uno, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds)
Alex and Darius start with arm bars. Alex gets a rollup for two. They run the ropes with Alex getting a shoulder tackler and he tags in Uno as his ribs are taped, so it hurts him more than it did Darius. Dante tags in and he dodges Uno’s attacks until he gets a DDT, and Uno rolls to the floor. Andretti tags in and hits a moonsault from the apron onto Uno as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, we come back to each team hitting a big move on the last person who came into the ring until Andretti and Darius get an assisted fireman’s carry slam on Silver for two. Uno saves Silver for a two-man suplex and as Silver tags in Reynolds, Uno gets Something Evil on Andretti. Dark Order gets a triple team on Darius for a two count. Dark Order tries to set for the pendulum bomb, but Alex can’t hold his end of it. Darius takes down Uno and Andretti is tagged in and hits a flying crossbody on Uno and Silver.
Andretti goes after Alex’s ribs, and Dante stops him, yelling that isn’t what they do. Andretti yells back and Uno goes to attack Andretti, and Dante takes the attack. Alex rolls up Andretti for two. Andretti gets a knee to Alex’s ribs and then goes after the ribs. Andretti sends Reynolds into the ringpost, steps on the ribs and then gets a split legged moonsault for the pin and the win.
Winners: Top Flight and Action Andretti
Dante and Andretti have words and then Dark Order joins in the argument. Darius and Dante shake hands with the Dark Order as we are told they need to be united against Jon Moxley’s team by the commentary team.
Lio Rush vs Komander
This will be super fast-paced and Komander is fighting Kyle Fletcher tomorrow night. Lio calls for a handshake, and they talk for a bit before Komander decides not to take the handshake.
Lio gets a kick to start the match and they quickly go to waistlocks.
Komander gets a two count rollup as they block each other coming off the ropes back and forth.
They go face to face again and have words.
They shove each other and then Komander gets a snap standing drop-kick and then they have words again.
Komander gets a shoulder tackle through the ropes and they run the ropes.
Lio gets a handspring kick to Komander on the apron and then dives onto Komander as we go to picture in picture.
When we return to full screen, Lio misses a frog splash from the top.
Komander gets a cross body from the middle ropes after both Lio and he change directions when running the ropes.
Komander gets a multi rope leaping arm drag followed by a superkick.
Komander runs across the ring, runs up the ropes for a flying shooting star press for two
Lio and Komander throw handstand Lio gets a stunner
Lio gets another stunner and holds on.
Komander breaks free and gets two strikes before Lio gets a power bomb for two.
Lio gets a falcon arrow for two
Lio goes to the top and Komnader rolls to the apron.
Lio comes down from the top and Komander gets an upkick and then another series of kicks before a backstabber onto Lio
Lio is tossed into the ropes and he bounces back from the bottom rope and hits a stunner on Komander
Lio goes to the top and misses a frog splash, Komander gets a crucifix rollup for two
Komander gets a thrust kick and goes to the top for a rope walking shooting star press for the pin and the win.
Winner: Komander
After the match they do shake hands and we are desperately out of time.
