Roddy Piper's film They Live will be playing next month at the Alamo Drafthouse Theater chain.
The film stars the WWE Hall of Famer as John Nada, a homeless construction worker who stumbles upon the truth that aliens have taken over and enslaved mankind.
Directed by John Carpenter and co-starring Keith David and Meg Foster, They Live opened at the top of the box office when it was released in November 1988, garnering $13,008,928 domestically over its four week run. That would be the equivalent of $33,551,487.85 in 2023.
The fight scene between Piper and Keith David is often celebrated as one of the best movie fight sequences of all time. If haven't seen the film, it's worth seeing.
Meanwhile our good friends at RSVLTS have released a series of new THEY LIVE shirts to celebrate one of the all-time best films ever starring a WWE Hall of Famer. You can check out RSVLTS' official shirts and order them at www.RSVLTS.com!
