CYNDI LAUPER DEDICATES SONG DURING MSG FAREWELL TO 80's WWF STARS

By Mike Johnson on 2024-10-31 12:11:00

During her concert last night at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Cyndi Lauper pointed out that she was a wrestling manager in this building and that she managed Wendi Richter to the "Women's Wrestling Championship" at the first Wrestlemania in the same venue.

Lauper then dedicated her song The Goonies R Good Enough to Captain Lou Albano, Nikolai Volkoff, Roddy Piper, Freddie Blassie and Andre the Giant, among others.

As Lauper performed the song, they played clips of the WWE Hall of Famers from the music video of the song:

Last night was Lauper's NYC stop of her farewell concert tour.

Somehow, she is still not in the WWE Hall of Fame.
