Deadline Hollywood reports that Dave Bautista is joining the star-studded cast of The Zellner brothers' alien invasion comedy The Alpha Gang. The Austin-based brothers David and Nathan Zellner recently gained critical acclaim with their Sundance hit in their dialogue-free cryptozoological family film " Sasquatch Sunset. "
The former WWE Champion joins Cate Blanchett, Steven Yeun, Zoë Kravitz, Léa Seydoux, Riley Keough, and Channing Tatum in the film, which sees alien invaders embodying the disguises of a 1950s leather-clad biker gang, "The Alpha Gang," looking to conquer Earth. But they also find themselves being invaded by humanlike emotions.
Filming is slated to begin in spring 2025. Alpha Gang is currently being ready to be sold to distributors.
